Not only is Spurlock right about him being the terminator but i'd also say he's not that good on the ball.
Did you actually mean Scott Parker? Or some other Parker?
Or did you mistakenly put Parker when you meant Modric?

On topic, for once, what is happening with this bloody transfer? This has to be the longest "nailed on" transfer of all time. Surely no other club can take this long to sign a player who has openly admitted to the press where he wants to go?
Even ignoring Levy's circumstances this is a long one. Some clubs have signed a couple of players since this deal started.

Also, Ade was seemingly nailed on. Why wasn't that wrapped up before ousting Harry?

I'm amazed that there's not been, at the very least, reports of Vertonghen wanting to go elsewhere. i don't understand how this has been kept so "nailed on". i'd be seriously concerned if I was him. Like i said in a previous post, maybe he's been told about what's happening this summer and how much we're going to be spending/ where we're going.

Re: Ade... probably because of his repuation of having an "attitude". maybe levy's waiting on that one and seeing whether the new manager wants him or not. let's be honest, he's like marmite.

Vertonghen is a done deal. It is neither Spurs, Ajax, or the player himself who is causing the hold-up. It is a matter outside of our control that needs sorting. As far as Ajax are concerned, Vertonghen has left the club to join Spurs. Patience.

Usual last minute, last gasp, Spurs bollocks coming up, I expect. I know I've said it before, but Levy is just like the old girl who waits outside Harrods on the last day of the sale, then goes racing through in an attempt to grab that last minute bargain.

please continue! Specifically with what this possibly could be.
    Paperwork? FA?
    Personal stuff outside of football?
    Broken fax machine?

??? Comeon Legend. Tell us! I'm so bored!

I'll quote someone who is very "in" at Tottenham, when he was asked to be more specific: "I hope you understand I cannot go into the specifics on a public forum. It's more of a legal issue than a transfer fee / contract issue. Confident it will be sorted soon though".

Other than what I posted, I'm as clued in as you.

Also, I'm not one who usually takes "ITK" stuff seriously, and take it with a large pinch of salt, but this one guy seems very clued up, so he's an exception for me. He first mentioned Blanc was in the running when he was out at 50s in the betting market. Few people put a bit of money on and stand to win in the thousands if he's appointed!

Bit premature, the window doesn't close until August 31st a bit of a way to go to the last gasp.

Interesting. Ta. I wonder what it could be? Short of fees and wages i can't think of anything and i'm assuming they must be sorted by now
Anyone want to have a guess?

****. I've just thought. Now Harry has gone deadline day is gonna be really dull! No Harry hanging out his window leaving Spurs lodge saying (telling porkies) that we are done for the day.
    No "where is Redknapp?" stories.
No rumours based purely on Redknapp being a wheeler-dealer and therefore we MUST be bringing someone in.

I'm gonna be this bored all summer!

We wouldn't have Van Der Vaart if it was not for last gasps. I'll have a last gasp like that, thanks very much.

Is not having a manager, various rumours on who we'll get in not to mention the DOF debacle not enough for you? I'd take a boring summer over this **** any day.

You're the second person I've seen asking about CM97-8 this week.

Nobody seems to ask about LMA Manager 2001 - even though I made Rochdale a Premier League team in that one...

LMA Manager on the PS2 was the best management game I've ever played! I'd love a manager game brought out on PS3!

Do any of you play football manager 2012?

I'm addicted to it. Started as Mansfield in the Blue square and now in the Premier League and Champions League with Spurs.
