Just watched the supposed highlights (not too many by the look of it). The commentary on the Radio seemed to suggest it was a nailed on handball in the first goal for us. Have to say having watched it half a dozen times I am not that convinced. It could have been but then again it just a easily might not, Hardie took his goal well again. Stevenage from what they showed seemed to be a bit on the heavy handed side. A bit of pushing and shoving and quite robust to say the least. When they say a team is fighting for survival I'm not sure they mean to do it literally. A number the Ref appeared to just ignore.
Playing the likes of Stevenage is why we have to get out of this Div. Argyle play better against better teams.
There definitely are some god awful teams in this league but then again there seem to be in all of them if comparing with the league overall. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised though at some of the standard shown. Most of the teams seem to want to play football rather than hoof ball and it definitely shows a lot more passing it about on the floor and slickly a lot of the time. In the old days it was wham bam thank you mam in league 2 or 4 if you want to be old fashioned with the name as well.
As the old song goes "It's not how you start it's how you finish". We can start like that in every game if we end up winning it. I would prefer us to play wonderful stuff for 90 minutes and win by at least 5 goals but in the absence of that every game this will do.
