Well the best thing they can do is watch this and note how Whittaker and Azaz skipped through them.....
Oh dear.....they did look tired having to travel so far the poor dears......just image if they had to do Plymouth to Sunderland....they'd probably want compensation.
Mind you, travelling east-west is a nightmare. We went camping to North Norfolk once. Bearing in mind we were living NE of London then, it took what seemed like forever. To top it all when we did get there and got a huge tent up, we found we didn’t have the right adapter to inflate the airbeds. Not a keen camper me…. Nice spot mind you, nature reserve and a stop on the North Norfolk steam railway on- site.
Isle of Wight years back when the kids were young and we where tenting....13 days out of 15 of rain and wind....the car was one side roped to the tent and the trailer was the other side roped to the tent. One night the wind was so strong...we had to hold down physically the corner poles,....the tent pegs were useless as the ground had turned into a paddy field. In the morning there was around us twisted tent frames and ripped tenting.....some had packed up and left in the middle of the night....because that was the only time you could get on a ferry to return to the mainland....all day times places had of course been booked for months....we had our terrified rough collie with us....we had showed her all the heroic Lassie films but to no avail.
