Apparently we usualy beat these so no worries in advance this time. Hang on, was that a bit too happy clappy? If I'm honest my COYG is more in hope these days rather than expectation. I just want 3 points from Saturday and I'll be happy and I don't care how they get them. You can do it lads........

I'm cautiously optimistic.

We've got players coming back from injury. Pleggy would be available if required as a 2nd half substitute on Saturday and Amaechi should be the same next week. Getting Amaechi back is Big Deal I think. Shame it's not Caleb Watts too but that will be the other side of the Christmas/New Year games.

Our away form is quite decent - which is odd for us. Over the last 6 away games, we're actually 5th best after Burton, Stockport, Cardiff and Wimbledon. Mind you, Northampton have the 8th best away form!

Despite some poor displays and some poor turn-outs from visiting clubs, we've still managed an average home attendance of nearly 16,000, again 5th after Bolton, Bradford, Cardiff and Huddersfield. It's not going to take much to turn Home Park back into a bear-pit if we can replicate out away form at home.

There's money to spend in transfer window: there is gossip about Ryan Hardie coming back on loan BTW, sufficient for Derek Adams to comment on it, albeit that his wages might be a problem. As far as I can see, he's managed just 20 minutes game time for Wrexham over two late-substitute appearances.

We definitely can do it, but that's been the case all season. The question is, will we do it?

It's the trouble with having wifi in an old house with solid brick walls! Bane of my life.... ethernet cable throughout next time I move.

Disastrous performance from Argyle.

Pretty even in the first half with Argyle having slightly the better of it without making clear chances. There is a problem: Tolaj is isolated down the middle and therefore easily marked: he needs someone closer to divide the defence.

We defended pretty well and Northampton offered little threat.

In the second half though perhaps Northampton made some tweaks and threatened more and once they got the first, Argyle collapsed.

Tolaj’s sending off was harsh: I don’t see the contact, just a tussle for the ball, but what I did see very clearly was their CB go down holding his face and then, seeing the ball running free, leap up like Lazarus of Bethany. The ref bought it anyway.

The crowd turned nasty - unsurprisingly really - and this can’t go on.

Lets be honest notdistant this was worse than awful. There is no belief in our players and you can see it. Most don't want to shoot and passes just go anywhere a lot of the time. That is the job of the Manager to sort out and he seems clueless. I'm not going to blame the Ref for the loss but he didn;t help much either. Northanpton should have had a nailed on Red in the first half and the Ref bottled it. Terrible officiating. Our Red probably was. Lino indicated an elbow and that would not surprise me. I didn't see any of it I was watching the ball. Tolaj didn't exactly argue did he and nor did any of his team mates. Straight Red and 3 games. We are now fecked. We were best in half one and couldn't score if they left the goal free for all of it. Second half and once we went one down there was no coming back and game over. You could see it a mile off. I didn't chant but I don't blame them for you are getting sacked in the morning. We have waited weeks for a game and then get served that. Sorry but Cleverley out before it's too late.

You could see the confidence has gone out of them and of course the chanting hardly helps - “not fit to wear the shirt” etc.

The daftest one by far is “sack the board”. You don’t have to be an expert in company law to know you can’t sack a board when the chairman owns 100% of the shares.

That was by far the worst performance of the season and the first one in which I’ve begun to think we could be doomed. Despite Tolaj’s best efforts, we aren’t going to threaten much when he’s flanked by two “wingers” 40 yards distant on either side and there’s nobody coming past him from midfield. No wonder he got frustrated and I will repeat - the CB definitely dived.

It’s not so much that I blame Cleverley but unfortunately the rabble has turned on him. With the transfer window imminent, it’s a very bad time to be throwing an extra spanner into the works.

well. that was bad and i dont really say to much, First half we should been in front, but a balanced first half, i thought second half we would kick on..

Not so, i dont know what they said at the break but it was Poor, i dint stay until the end i thought im out and went for an early beer.. or two.

We will probably go saturday and get a three points but we dont have a goal scorer now after the red

Oh the ref.. what a Fecking clown.. enough on him. no one was happy at the end of that and i hear people wanting a complete change even saying Adams to go.. Not sure what will happen but if this continues we will know own fate Early on in the new year
