Sonny Bradley to score the winner and break his no scoring record at Luton....the fickled finger of fate says it will happen...nailed on cert.
It will be interesting to see what sort of welcome he gets. I for one feel let down by the way he left. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
Footballers careers on average are finished by 34/36 yrs of age....you've got a short window for earnings....you cannot blame a fellow for moving where the money is.
I think he will get a good reception, and an even better one when Freddie leaves him for dust and scores the winner!
He has no pace so anyone who puts the ball behind him and can run will always give him a nightmare. I'm always a bit shocked that teams don't recognise that. Maybe why they are still in league one and not higher. I think he will get a bit of stick but in a good way and his reception initially will be warm enough. I am well an truly pee'd off at the moment. When I came back from Kent last Friday I was feeling a bit crocked and it got worse as time went on. No not man flu as the joke goes but I think close to the real thing. I thought that by now it would have gone away but it hasn't even if it is now improving. My missus has now got the bug and has just been prescribed penicillin for Pleurisy. I would have a lot of problems walking up the hill on the Barn Park side to the ground let alone sitting in the cold for a couple of hours. Basically I've decided I'm not going. Fingers crossed for Tuesday.
I read that Luton play a narrow game, so the key battle grounds will be: to stop to stop their midfield three and Moncur, who plays in the hole in front of them (not a good time to be without Ness and Sarcevic), and for Lameiras and Carey to put their full backs on the defensive rather than let them to raid down the wings. Stop them playing and we don't need to worry about the keeper so much!
You got to be tougher living Kent way.....if they lose your to blame today....missing Sonny's return might be a shrewd move.
There's a lot of it about Sensible: I felt awful for 3 days or so and my brother seems to have been laid low for a week or more. Get the ball to Ladapo's feet, let him have a run at Bradley.
Oh dear....looks like Adams was being too optimistic about Letheren.......Macy's season could be defined today..... he will need to play well to give his defence some confidence.....but I fear the worst.
Too optimistic or confusing the opposition again? Riley in for Smith-Brown - why? Songo in instead of Ness - why?
Why no attack again like kast week and loose....attack from the start and hassle them or is it asking too much. .....JC wept and will weep again!
Hard to tell how this is going by the stats. Luton with more shots and a bit up on possession but neither looking like overrunning the other. Some other scores we could do without though.
Argyle starting with a midfield diamond with what amounts to a back 5, Songo'o at the base of the diamond is playing virtually as a 3rd CB. Few chances, Edwards clearing one off the line and Lameiras flashing a shot across the Luton goal line. Much of Luton's possession has consisted of their back 4 passing it between themselves as Argyle are content to sit in shape and wait for Luton to make a mistake. PAFC fans on Twitter seem satisfied we;re making a fight of it and name Songo'o as Man of the First Half! Erratic refereeing is worrying. Hylton substituted before he was sent off all over not very mush, Carey booked for a tackle almost identical to one for which a Luton player was just ticked off and Edwards on a yellow after a bad tackle. Delightful radio commentary max-ing out on cliches. The summarizer Shaun Somebody is repeatedly mixing up Ryan Edwards and Sonny Bradley, who he seems to think still plays for Argyle. Late in the first half he memorably described a challenge between Lameiras and a Luton player as a "Samson and Goliath" confrontation: David has been left on the bench for this one with Delilah suspended.
0-0...F/T.....Macey keeps a clean sheet....the stats suggest Argyle have pinched a point.....dropped to 15th.
