The winner here of last weeks Lotto won $30 million...
My question is.... if one of us on the Forum won 15 million pounds would we put any monies towards our Football Team..
    Just a fun thought..

I think you would need a lot more than £15m to make a difference and not get shot by the family at the same time BC. I think if you wanted to invest and keep the family happy you would need one of the Euro Millions jackpots that tend to roll over and over until they get to obscene amounts. Several have been over £100m. Now if I had that then just maybe I might take a punt. You would need in excess of £20m to waste just to contemplate it because you sure as hell wouldn't get it back. I might just donate a new stand to the club which would be bigger than the post box Brent was planning and allow the club all of the proceeds from it rather than the diluted amount our glorious saviour was prepared to give.

Sensible.....you could buy the club for less than £5 million.....plus £10 million on a stand....and £5 million on players and their contracts.........and then all those nasty posters could then moan about you instead of James Brent.

If I spent the same as Brent you could remove the word million from the end plym. I am talking about chucking away £20m as a sort of ball park figure to get the greens started and not the end product. To do a lot now, and by that I mean buy your way into promotions, and get to the Championship would cost upwards of maybe £50m. To get anywhere near the premier league then who knows how much you would have to write off. It's very much a rich mans toy nowadays. Not just rich but very very rich. When you look around the World at what some people have to live with circumstances wise not of their own making and then look at what some people can spend on a whim then it's not surprising there is so much unrest. I watched Sports Relief for a while last week. You see whole families living on a rubbish tip and just about hanging on and then you see the owners of premiership clubs and nothing makes sense anymore. It even sort of makes me feel guilty for bemoaning what Brent doesn't spend on football when I see that. Not that he would donate anything in that direction anyway. And here is me talking about what I might do if I won £100m plus.

No need to worry sensible......we'd all help you spend it.....can't have you worrying about it......of course I don't include Joe in that....he's doing well enough anyway.
