As per a mention for the man in the middle. According to Pasoti he did the deed for the Exeter game. Can't remember anyone slagging him off although the same can't be said for Argyle in that game. 73 yellows and 2 reds in 23 matches. Fourth official though is our friend Mr Hair who has been slagged before. He can't be much harm though can he doing thatt job.

So, normally we should be ultra expectant after this Saturdays game. However the last time we were after a result like that we bombed again. I think we are different now though and if they turn up again then there is no reason to doubt the boys.

Whether he's fit or not isn't the question. Who would he currently replace in the starting lineup is the right ask. Is it wise to change a winning side and Cleverley obviously thinks it isn't. Proved absolutely spot on again. Results matter and they have improved out of all recognition. Two away performances and two excellent results. Sort of a pity it's Cardiff this weekend as the home game as we could have done with an easier tie. Still think we can win that one as well but it definately won't be easy.

1-3.....F/T....(90+9mins)

O'Neill...(45+3mins)..............Pepple.....(45+1mins)

League position.....12th........6pts from play-offs.

Now won 8 away games....the most of any team in the division.

Only 5 wins at home....only Port Vale have won less.....three other teams have only won 5 home games as well.

Much criticism of the BBC match report out there. Talks about the first goal being against the run of play when the fans who were there - a fantastic 1,300 of them on a Tuesday night - are adamant that Argyle were pretty much dominant from start to finish.

There’s no need for Cleverley to rush Tolaj back. We’ve scored 7 goals in two away games and Pepple is right in there with that. He came on with almost exactly 30 minutes to play last night, which is the schedule Cleverley has talked about for easing imjured players back in. If he follows the plan, Tolaj will start on Saturday but come off after 60 minutes. After that, all being well, he’ll be regarded as “90 minutes fit”.

I absolutely agree with Sensible that it’s a shame it’s Cardiff on Saturday. I’m not at all saying we can’t get a result but an easier win against a less challenging opponent would have cemented this run of form and confidence nicely.

Cleverley says "we weren't at our best but did enough to dominate. We didn't deserve to be ahead at half-time but led by Joe Edwards, the players cleared their minds at half time. We could have scored more"! Wow.

There is one constant with being an Argyle follower. No matter how well you do as a team there is always a hint of doom spread from certain factions. There is never an air of confidence that things are only getting better or going well. I said myself that we could have done with an easier game at home to follow up the last two away wins. If you are playing the runaway leaders at the top of your league then it cannot possibly be the easiest game. But, like you notdistant I also said that we can win it even if it's hard. We are no longer the pushover we were earlier in the season even if occasionally we do collapse still.

I am a bit pee'd off for this Saturday because I have been pursuaded not to go. I have had nothing but coughs and wheezes this Winter and once again am getting over a chest infection. Given the weather we have been having it would be stupid to risk it when I can still watch the game. Am going to go to the Social Club, or rather get dropped off there. and watch it in the warm over a pint. Can then join in the after celebrations. The person who will gain from my loss ticket wise is an old mate who is a Bluebird. How ironic is that. He will either extract the michael in the club after or take the flack.

I don't want to jinx it and in that regard you can tell from my score in the Prediction competition, the stats I use are far from infallible!

However, I will say that their home form is brilliant but their away form isn't that impressive. If we play our best game, then there's reason we can't get something from this.
