Not quite at the desperation point yet but we are getting there. We need a result from somewhere.

Everyone seems to be pointing out that we do not win at Gillingham and haven't managed it for around 40 years. We haven't been in the same league for all of that so these stats are never quite as they first appear. But, whilst it may not be a happy hunting ground it is also true to say that ALL records are there to be broken at some point so why not at Gillingham this season. They aren't going great guns any more than we are so this could be anyone's. However, we need to turn up for 90 minutes this time and not as is the norm with us for a maximum of half a game. Not convinced this will be our points this time but as ever I live in hope rather than despair.

My Relatives will be going to that game Two for Gillingham, and my Daughter wearing her Argyle shirt at the Argyle end.

Lets hope she brings us some luck then BC. If not, you know how fickle us greens are. We will be looking for somebody to blame.................

I originally planned to go to this game...but I am not going now.....1980/81 was the last time we won there......14 times we've played since then and the end result is 14 played... 0 wins...2 drawn...12 defeats.
Two of my worst away experiences have been at Gillingham....3-0 defeat at the end of Peter Reid's time and last years 5-2 defeat....definitely an unlucky ground....even when Gillingham are having a poor time at home they still beat Argyle and this season they are...6 won...5 drawn...11 defeats.
Argyle have poor away form as well...4 won...5 drawn...12 defeats....I've predicted a draw this Friday just because we're desperate for a point....a defeat would put Gillingham out of the drop equation and will continue to suck us down....and this team have the ability to drop goals in injury time too regularly... and as we all know we've dropped 4 points recently which would have made us safe by now.

Just because you don't want to be blamed isn't it? If you have the opportunity to go to something you normally follow then why wouldn't you? Bleddy chicken.

Gillingham are ramping up this game as their biggest game of the season....after losing at home last week to Shrewsbury they want the 3 pts and at the least 1 pt to keep Argyle below them....they're currently 1 pt in front of us.

I'm wondering what side he'll pick given he's talked about changes being made after last week's poor showing. There isn't much room for manoeuvre given what he's got available, especially in midfield. We certainly can't afford to lose.

    Threlkeld, Fox, Sarcevic, Smith-Brown

    Carey

    Taylor, Ladapo

Wow, a night in Gillingham. I haven't been there since 1976 but I bet it hasn't improved much. You've just set you're self up for a share of the blame if we get nothing now Lyndie. That's you, plym and BC's daughter. I'll find a way to add in Joe, notdistant and hp before tomorrow.

Just to cheer you all up....only one team has scored less goals away from home than Argyle.....and that is AFC Wimbledon on 16...we've scored 18.

0-1 at half time. The Gillingham crowd can clearly be heard getting at their own team who are boo-ed off at the break.

    All good for us!
