I’ll tell you what else is ironic. I’m filing in an hour watching Ipswich. We know they aspire to be a footballing side but now here they are, away at Arsenal. Most of the game they’ve been 11 behind the ball. In the first half, they’ve had not a single touch in the Arsenal box, who’ve had 84% possession and Ipswich are 1-0 down. Have they capitulated though? No they haven’t. They’ve been pragmatic though and made Arsenal work for it. Lessons could be learned.
