Yeah as most have said. Appreciated his attitude and if he had scored the goals grabban got he would have been loved.

Shame he wasn't as good as we hoped he could be but no hard feelings towards the lad he always gave his all for the cause.

Roly was a young lad who never got much of a chance to be fair to him, he played nine games for us scoring one goal, before retiring due to injury. This is bordering on prolific compared to some other more seasoned "strikers" you could name, Danny Graham, 42 games, one goal, Jon Stead, 40 games, 2 goals, Altidore 52 games, 3 goals, and these players also cost serious money.

Still think Flo was the worst!! Especially taking into account the huge fee!!

I liked Wayne too - a bit like Vaughan, loads of effort but feck all footballing ability.

Bart
Yeah - Flo was probably the worst, I meant to add him to the list of shame.

Is that the same Flo that scored just one less than Lord Super Kev that season playing in a crumbling team led by a moron for the most part of the season.

Flo was a quality striker, admittedly past his prime when he came here but putting him in a list with some of those is totally wrong

Rangers fans are still pissing themselves at how much they conned out of us.

Flo was a desperate buy, and he came in a combined deal with Marcus Stewart, at a combined fee, quoted at the time as 10 m, even though they came from Rangers and Ipswich respectively, this was a lot of money at the time. Sunderland later claimed Flo cost around 6.75m, he scored 4 goals in 29 games and left under a cloud for free after 2 fraught seasons, Stewart cost 3.25m and scored 31 goals in 102 games and was very popular with supporters, he left after three seasons to see out his days at his home town club of Bristol City.

He was just a huge disappointment at Sunderland though, scoring 6 goals in 33 games and cost us about £7m, eventually leaving on a free just to get him off the books.
