    No, definitely not dyslexia.

I think Nacho's closer to the mark <laugh>

I'd be more than happy to go with what we've got.

I saw a predicted table that had us 8th with the likes of Norwich, Fulham, Wolves ahead of us. I don't think that they are better than us at all.

Wolves did some decent business, but their squad was far weaker than ours to start with.

Loving the optimism, but I just can't see us holding on to Lens, Kone and Khazri.

Without those three we look toothless and none effective from an attacking perspective.

This, back in the real world at least two of them will be going. Very possible all three.

I posted last week or so about pre-season - I watched Marco Gabbiadini score zero pre season (missed a lot of good chances too) and score around 20 in the following season

Pre-season is games for players to regain their fitness and the football is always secondary for me - always has been. I remember back in the 80's - if SAFC ever had a good pre-season and won all of their games, the season was rubbish - but if they had a poor pre-season (results wise) the season was always better - then again, we probably had good pre seasons in division 1 then poor in division 2 as we were hardly up for more than a year!!

This is true, but strangely, even knowing this to be the case, I cant help but feel better when we win, even after playing below par against lowly opposition.

Winning breeds confidence regardless of the opposition, similarly losing has the opposite effect.

I'd like to see us winning every pre-season game irrespective of who we play, always nice to see.

Aye and if Vaughan had scored he'd be feeling like he'd already got off the mark for Sunderland and would settle quicker, still time for that in the Celtic game. Preseason results and performances might not be as important as regular games but they do have meaning beyond just raising fitness etc.
