Nah, its not RVN's fault the season ended, its ok to look at Vardy being top consecutive if your looking at single season, but that shouldn't take away from RVN scoring in 10 consecutive games. Im sure him being kept out of England is just a precaution, though Woy doesn't need much of an excuse to leave him out for a lumox like Kane or Rooney. It will be the same old story tomorrow, we'll try and play possession football against a better side and look toothless again.
... he had a 12 week break! ... wasn't his fault that the season ended? - no - but it was his 'fault' that he didn't start his run earlier Vards has had to pick himself up off the deck and 'soldier on' on more than one occasion to keep his run going game by game - with minimal recovery time (even with international breaks) ... RVN's break between games doubtless included weeks in the sun sipping cocktails on a caribbean beach whilst his legs recuperated from the exertion of walking to the lift in his 5 star hotel room before it deposited him adjacent to an exclusive private beach RVN's scoring record is fair enough, but Vards has already broken the only one that really counts IMHO ... an analogy is with golf or tennis ... getting a 'calendar year' grand slam is ok .. but not a patch on a same season grand slam ...
