So tell me, does it mean they determine who wins ?
What about Kane getting hauled down twice ?
Its flawed to me.

I'm a traditionalist.....Nothing wrong with football before this VAR farce. Human error is part and parcel of the game. its what makes the game what it is. I hate the thought football is becoming clinical. With 4 or 5 people pouring over TV screens, the referee on the field has the chance to review and they still cock it up. Just leave the game alone. Its not broken, don't try and fix it.
i agree with most of the comments made about VAR, and if the match officials are reluctant to use it. which it would appear then maybe we should give the team managers the opportunity to request it is used, give them a set number of times they can consult VAR and if they are correct they still retain the same number of referals as it is in tennis or cricket. Then again it still comes down to the panel who will adjudicate, and the problem is most of them couldnt agree about the colour of ****e.
Football is a human game, played by humans and officiated by humans. VAR and other technology is designed to eliminate human error in officiating. The next logical step then is to eliminate human error in actually playing the game, so let's design some technology to prevent players feeling the pressure of a big game, to prevent lapses in concentration, to prevent mis-kicks. That would be fun wouldn't it? What makes sport interesting is that it's about human ability and testing human ability. That includes the abilities of the referee and his linesman.
CBD is a chemical and is used as a supplement, in some cases in place of ibuprofen. What I was getting at was the use of electronic technology to aid performance, i.e. players quite literally becoming robots, not medical developments. The removal of the human element will devalue the game and that is the ultimate extension of the use of technology in the game.It exists, its called CBD and the Athletic industry is turning to it and its picking up pace, not only does it help with pre event stress and lapses in concentration, it's helping athletes recover quicker.
