Nope ... VAR gave them the opportunity to make the right decision, they got it wrong ... but without VAR they would not even have had that opportunity... welcome to the modern world ...

VAR is pointless if it's not going to be used. So far this World Cup, all I keep seeing is that the referees are still making the same mistakes we continally blamed the speed of the game for previously. You know, the whole reason for VAR, the second chance

 

As Clattenberg has just said ... if the VAR official directs the ref to take a look at the monitor the right decision gets made ...

... and if you've forgotten more about technology than I'LL never know, It's bad news for the companies that keep employing me

Is that a serious comment or a piss take? The pictures on my tele showed quite clearly that the head was placed on Henderson's chest and then moved upwards to connect with his chin. And Neymar would have done a backward flip and at least 4 rolls. If you were being serious can I suggest respectfully that you get a HD TV set. The pictures are much clearer.

 

I'm not the only one saying him holding his face as he goes down when the guy (red card worthy) moves his head and brushes Hendersons chin.

I'm not going to call neymar a ****ing pansy and give henderson a pass and i'm not going to credit Henderson because he's not rolling around like Neymar either.

As for the HD tv, i suggest you need some specs if you think that warranted the reaction.

 

I have specs and they do work. That was a nailed on headbutt and it did connect with Henderson's chin and it should have been a red card. It's a well known fact that football players today do have glass chins as well as wobbly legs and shins that are caused severe pain by a near miss or the wind of an opponent foot passing closely by. Naymar would get a row of 10's if he took part in a floor discipline in a gymnastic event. His movement is second to none.
