would he have been sent off? Its a yellow for a dive.

Anyway you're lucky VaR wasn't in place else you might never have won the PL with all them Vardy pens <whistle>

Yeah no players are ever going to surround the ref demanding they really watch it are they...

Again rugby comparisons don't hold much water as it's much more stop start.

It's going to be used but I really hope it's kept minimal and refs are discouraged from it. It should only be used to overturn a clear error... If it's taking 3 minutes then it's not a clear error.

My fear is it will go too far and become farcical and like a ****ty yank sport. You'll end up having VAR sponsored by ****ing betting companies do while a review is being made we'll have adverts from Paddy ****ing Power.

... easy to fix ... take the pressure off the ref on the pitch by having the VAR 'decision' shown on a big screen ... the ref then just says ... "take it up with the FA after the game" ... fcukin pansy players need to get a grip and get on with it ..

Don't think you can have it on the screen as again decisions are subjective so some players would still think the decision is wrong, not to mention the problems it could potentially cause in the crowd.

Spot on about getting a grip and getting on with it though... Sack it off <ok>

Bearing in mind one of the most frustrating uses of VAR was our cup game and we don't have a big screen <laugh>

Yeah this. Goal line technology is great. Rest of it just doesn't work due to the complexity of the game...basically too many variables for it to work. Impossible task. Load of bollocks.

Still ****ing hate it. I've not seen one example, in the few games it's been used in, that has change my opinion.

If it was a big decision in your favour you may have a different view.

Ultimately it will only be used in specific decision making areas anyway but it will take away 99% of what gets talked about and mulled over after the game.

    Nope.
For me football is supposed to be debated in the clubs and pubs.

100% of what's talked about after a VAR game is the VAR <laugh>

This is another worry. Refs will end up bottling any big decision and constantly referring to it.

It's only going to be used for penalty decisions, controversial goals and mistaken identity, - so unless there are 5-6 of those every half .... <laugh>

Just to bring it back to this too, it's also nor fair if lower levels of the game don't get it.

and offsides oh & everything else once a wrongly given corner leads to a goal.
still makes me smile if a goal is scored a check will be made but if offside is called incorrectly tough ****. Thats going to work really well <laugh>

It won't be used for offsides unless a goal is scored as a result of it. Remember our cup game when one of the west brom lads was tackled, fell over and was making the sign calling for VAR - well it won't be used for that either.

    quite
Salah breaks the offside trap running in on goal but is wrongly flagged for offside - no VAR to make up for error.
The managers will go ape i mean just imagine JK if that happens as per my scenario in the 90th min against the Mancs* - he may actually self combust on the touchline :emoticon-0121-angry

*mind you with our defence we'd probably cough up a goal in the 92nd min anyway :emoticon-0101-sadsm
