There's alot at stake, i hope it is used. Imagine having to spend another season in League 1 because of an offside goal or a foul.
I'm far from a fan of VAR, but it will certainly make Wycombe think twice about their ****house tactics
Controversial from me but leave it in the cupboard. I dont like it. We will be celebrating a goal and then pausing for confirmation, where is the joy in that. Never had it all season dont see how they can use it now. Referees in the semi final did well for me, just give us a ref like rhat and play the game.
I agree with this. I wouldn't be too worried if we did use it but can't see how they suddenly whip it out for the final!
There's always two sides to this one. Great if it works for you...but terrible if it doesn't. I think for this game and what Wycombe get up to may not be a bad thing. The other to look at this is that hopefully soon we will be back in the Premier League so we would have to accept it whether we like it or not.
Did you not watch our game at Hillsborough? All of our wasting time and falling over? I was pleased with it in all honesty. It's about time we done what is needed instead of the 'right thing' I don't want VAR. I hate it.
I know. I'm making the point that we've used the same tactics under Neil at times and O9 is a master of ****house tactics.
I agree to an extent but I've been caught many times going crackers only to look over and see a linesmans flag. I would say it generally reaches the right conclusion so if its used for the final I wouldn't have a problem with it really
Correct. VAR has ruined football for the committed, attending fan. Football doesn't even have anywhere near sharp enough tools to do they job they claim to be doing. But , more than anything else, they have taken the best thing away from a game. That single moment of elemental ecstacy when your team scores, especially late as so often with us recently, is now gone. It's a hope that we've scored, and that is fundamentally different. As well as that, people sitting at home know more, know quicker and know for definite way before fans at games. This has lead to the ludicrous instances of people getting messages sent to their phones from their mates watching on the telly, telling them "penalty" or " red card" etc. There really is sometimes enough time for this. Absurd, and inexcusable.
