The difference between Chelsea and Arsenal is that Arsenal can sign an average player who will improve the team dramatically and Chelsea can sign Torres, Louiz and Shevchenko. Why is that? Because Arsene knows exactly what kind of player he needs - he is wise enough to know that a big name means nothing if it is not the right guy for us. As for Chelsea manager Mr. Abramovich.. I do not need to continue.

 

Again, just because they play regularly doesn't mean they're not average. Now please ask anybody else on any board if they think those players are average.

Mertesacker has 70 odd caps because the German league is a lot more generous to defenders, he doesn't suit the PL and looks average here. Germany's defence has also been their weak point over the past few years.

Drogs is probably right , if RVP had not played and been replaced by another player , that replacement would not have given any assists.

He probably would have stood in the centre circle like a statue for 90 mins and played no part in the game ,

After reading through this thread, I've seen Jayram literally hand your arse to you various times, and you've responded by starting a new argument.

Get ****ed. You're referencing the 8-2's and stuff, but those days are long over, and so are chelsea's. Forget top four, Villas-****us won't get you anyway near it with your amazingly youthful squad (Papers are saying Lampard to swap with Modric even the spuds aren't that stupid) and your high line fail. You probably won't get out of your champions league group, are out of the carling cup and title race, and so your only realistic hope, pretty much like us, is the FA cup, which is totally ****ing random.

UNLIKE Chelsea, Arsenal could get very lucky draws in Europe and make it to the Semis because we're already group winners. And then, who knows? Point is, there is more chance of Arsenal winning a trophy this season than Chelsea, and that is a fact. I'm not saying we'll win the champions league, nowhere near good enough IMO, but we have a ****ing better chance than you do.

And you said... 7 years? We were doing alright in December 04. Won the FA Cup that season, if I remember right...
