I can't believe 1) How our press can turn a nothing fact into a sensational 'crisis' for Arsenal YET AGAIN. How many other players have 2 years left and haven't negotiated? And 2) The amount of idiots (yes, this is the word) who read this drivel and believe it. Even the muppets on Sky are now talking about it like he's leaving next week. Unbelievable, and pathetic.
You call me a fool when obviously i posted that before the **** hit the fan, you couldn't make it up.
How many more truths do you need to see before you will accept your club is the laughing stock of Europe
Justifying the ruining of the game by clubs such as yourselves and chelsea by pretending that every single footballer out there is after the fast buck. One word : Kaka.
How much did you pay Rooney to stay ? As i said earlier how many players in the PL have been with their club more than 8 years or 5 for that matter? We were a mid table club we had to pay big money to get players in, now we are in the CL we can attract better players but i am not deluded i know money is also a big big draw, you honestly think players come to you because of who you are and money is of no concern?
Isnt Kaka on something like €9mill Euro a year at Madrid (Spain also has a lower tax rate), its hardly an example of a player not after a fast buck.
Im sure they would of, but its hardly an example of someone not playing for the love of money. Maybe Arteta taking a pay cut to go to Arsenal (which I still find hard to beleive Arsenal pay less than Everton) but then again who wouldnt take a paycut to get out of Everton?
The same Modric who refused to play for his manager, team & fans because "his head wasn't right", or a different Modric?
More than eight years? Off the top of my head: Ferdinand, Giggs, Evans, Cleverley and Fletcher More than five years you can add: Rooney, Vidic, Evra, Park, Gibson and Welbeck. If Gibson and Rooney are still here at the end of the season they will have been at Utd for eight years. And all of those barring Gibson could conceivably end their careers at Utd, which would mean Giggs, Evans, Cleverley, Fletcher and Welbeck had spent their entire careers at the club. That doesn't even include Neville, Scholes, O'Shea and Brown who all only left Utd last year after 10 plus years at the club. So no, the age of players spending eight or more years at one club, or even their entire career, is far from being over. Brown, O'Shea and Fletcher in particular stayed with Utd longer than Beckham, Butt and Phil Neville, so if anything player loyalty is getting stronger at Utd.
Rooney, eight years? that's crazy, im maybe showing my age but that really doesnt seem like 8 years ago! To be fair there isnt any real reason for a home grown player to leave Utd though is there (or any of the top teams for that matter)? It's a real suprise and actually quite unusal to see a player move from the top teams other than being out of favour. Cole from Arsenal to Chelsea is the only player of note I can think of (other than the bit part players)
City are basically trying to sign arsenals side so they can continue finishing behind us for the next decade
i remember acertain Sol Campbell saying he will sign at the end of the season, and he's not leaving. What he meant was he's not leaving North London
Oh the bitterness. If they were picking up some unknown it would be ok but seeing as they are challenging you for the title this season it's oooohhh look who else they signed. it was the same against Chelsea, there always seems to be something unfair happening that is the cause of United being challenged. ye had the monopoly on money long enough even if it was smaller fees back then it was stillt he same, god forbid anyone else does the same though I admit in a shorter period. Bitter nonsense only because you rate Van Persie
