I am LVG's biggest critic but to say the majority of his signings are no better than what he kicked out is way off the mark. The biggest travesty is that this squad is actually very very good, but we have a chimp in charge of them. You could put this squad in the hands of Pep, Low, Ancelotti and even Mourinho from the start of the season and they'd be top of the league right now. Van Gaal is at fault, not the players (except a couple including Rooney sadly, but even they aren't helped by the baffoon in charge)
It is also the players fault. How can you absolve them of any blame? Jesus, even I didn't get that bad with Moyes ffs. Its a team game, do you actually understand that? Not being funny but you seem to have an issue with this notion so I am genuinely interested on your views. And its simply unrealistic to replace everyone, again. We've done that, its not going to plan, at least on the pitch. Which is ultimately what matters most. So you replace the one thing that's easier. The manager. I think he will walk, after his interview today, but he could easily be sacked.
His interview was pure waffle UIR. It was clueless babbling. Every interview has become progressively more clueless as the season has gone on and today's demonstrated perfectly a man with nothing further to add and no ideas left. As for the players, see my post above to Valley.
Ridiculous as usual. There's no sense with you. You've just seen a manager who has 19 major trophies to his name, very few have more, struggle. Yet you claim others guarantee top spot? There's a real lack of logic there. You have no idea. Nobody does. It may pay off but what kf it didn't? Why if Jose came in. Would you be happy to allow him time and accept his ego? Or Pep, who announces he's leaving every 2.5 years? What if Ancelotti, came in and we finished 5th, but he wins the CL, which is something he would likely do. And Low ffs Treble. He's been an international manager for ages now. Be a huge ask for him to come back to club management in the PL.
This is the part where UIR just can't eat humble pie and will skip off on the yellow brick road to the Wizard of Bollox.
I'm not revelling in anything. Just responding to your previous post about me. Don't confuse my disagreements with you with my feelings for the club. You don't hold some monopoly on what being a good supporter is mate. That's one of your biggest problems.
Who said I did? And if you're not, I apologise. It looks like you are. Almost like you're about to explode and scream "I told you so".
Yeh tbf our back 4 was coming along nicely. I think we need another RB, but Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Darmian, Shaw, Jones look pretty good. I still think Hummels or as Chief I think suggested, Williams, would be a good addition. One thing we need is a leader at the back. Smalling was beginning to show that.
LvG just cant understand the Premier league, he is at a loss when teams at the bottom (who he has probably never heard of) attack his team and take part in the game. It just doesn't happen in other leagues he has managed in, at least Ancelotti and Mourenho know what to expect.
I haven't watched him recently tbh, but I was impressed with him last season and in your games against United every time I've seen him. So much so he was in my FF team as one of my first buys
I would be quite happy for Verela to be cover at right back, another very good CH to partner Smalling would always be an improvement but not a necessity.
