Both. After the whu game*, we need to average a point a game to stay up. Our form does not point to that at present. The buffer is getting smaller by the week. *if we lose
Surely the board have earned the criticism they are getting on here, they allowed our second best cb to go, our best cb then got injured with 9 days of the window remaining, they failed to bring in a replacement which has left us with a severely weakened team and 1 injury from a minor catastrophe. I don't doubt they tried but the fact we have one of the biggest games in the clubs history coming up. I'm not going to go overboard i just don't understand how anyone can defend the board by saying they tried.
You're not wrong, I think the key has to be stopping the service to him. If west ham can only get the balls into the box slow and when we're already set they stand a good chance of dealing with Carroll. If he starts getting a lot of balls to run onto then he may cause some headaches.
Oof, I like Maya and Stephens and wasn't that worried about Gardos as cover for like 4 to 6 weeks, but 2-3 months... Ouch! Ah well, they've already managed one heroic feat...
But what did you expect them to do? Tie someone up in a car, kidnap their loved ones and force them to sign for us?
All i said was the board deserved a bit of criticism and that's your response. Yeah guess i deserved that.
I think we should have signed a centre-back, of course. We are crying out for one (even as backup) - but I don't think it's the fault of the board. They had deals in the pipeline, for whatever reason, they didn't come through. As I said, they can't force people to sign for us, unfortunately.
