I find that the most accurate assessment of injuries tends to be what's reported in the official PL fantasy game. That says he has a 75% chance of playing this weekend.
I don't believe in luck. But god damn. we have had ten seasons worth of misfortune this term. To say we're the anti-leicester seems apt today.
They'll never shift him and the other 6 figure salaries, so they'll keep sinking if they do. Hope that cheers you up. No, me neither.
Some of you lot need to get a grip. Football is a contact sport, things like this happen. I could almost understand if there was any malice or intent involved in the foul. Awful for the lad, hope he gets back soon but to wish relegation on us is childish.
We've currently got 4 players on 100k plus. Vardy (who would get us promoted single handedly), Schmeichel who will certainly leave, Drinkwater who will leave and Mahrez who will definitely leave. Not to mention we've just won the league and are about to embark on knockout Champions League football. We're doing alright for cash. Thanks for the concern though.
I think the bad feelings right now are warranted. Say you got to the champions league semi-finals, played Barcelona and got a 1-0 advantage. Now if you had played us before the second league, and one of our players had deliberately (debatable) stamped on your key player at the time, the one that you feel positive about just from seeing them on the team sheet, then your fan base would certainly feel right royally pissed off at us and whoever stamped on them. Relegation wishes maybe too far, but right now we have every right to show the middle finger to Vardy and Leicester. If Van Dijk plays then all is forgiven and we hope you do well against Sevilla.
Accident or not, weasel face looked very content with his behaviour. A simple acknowlegdement to VvD would have gone a long way. He looked more like job done, the human pocket is leaving the field of play.
Vardy has always been a dirty little prick. He probably didn't mean to injure him, but he certainly knew what he was doing. Mouthy twat.
Did anyone mention Vardy did the same to Steve Davis last season too...lots of similar "accidents" Hopefully one of our guys will do him next season if he is still in the premiership
Unbelievable ! I've had my left leg busted four times, the worst being my femur during our end of season tour which left me in Poole General while my teammates were on the p1ss..... absolutely no ill feeling towards the offending opposition player ! As said earlier football is a contact sport and Virgil isn't exactly goody two shoes ffs !
Not really the same as a semi-final and having your key player potentially out due to a nasty little foul. It's not like it's the first time he's done it. There's contact going for the ball and contact like stamping on someone. Like I said whether he meant or not only he will know, but our defence is short enough as it is and tension is high. Biggest game of the season so we are allowed to feel aggrieved.
Meant to add , all the best tonight guys...... With your advantage,Liverpool have to come at you, so plenty of opportunities on the counter with their dodgy defence ! Good luck !
No intention to injure VVD from Vardy. It's gutting to lose our best player but let's not be ridiculous by actually disliking a person for doing their job and playing competitively.
