For once with this lad we got a few quid for him and made some money......other than that f*ck him.....
With our defence the way it is we wouldn't be any better off with him in the side. Bit of a luxury player because he's effective in attack but will always be suspect in defence and that's not great for someone called 'a defender'.

How on earth that knacker is classed as a defender is beyond me.
People were deceived in to thinking that he was a good player because he is a defender with a good goal scoring record. The reality is that he didn't give a flying furk about defending and would happily vacate his position to get involved further up the field

Great watching him and Khazri bomb forward though, defenders nightmare those two. He is also rated after Sane as the second fastest player in the premiership, 35.42 km/h according to Opta.
He reminds me of McLean, nowt going on between the ears but good speed and physicality. Probably equally competent at defending despite them supposedly playing in different positions.
Absolutely this. Couldn’t defend against me and I’m 42 and not very good!! Reckon he’d be a very good winger though
