    Awesome....we'll be back in for him in 12-18months time when he's been **** for them for the remainder of this season and then spent the first half of next season either on the bench or in the reserves.

    Now back on. RB Leipzig have allegedly signed their preferred target, Dani Olmo, so Lazaro's agent is back-peddling.

    Here's the issue - our scout Nickson, the one who claimed Joelinton was a CF, is involved again. Olmo, who is Leipzig's preferred option, is very much an attacking midfielder/winger. Do we see this Lazaro as a winger? Where's he supposed to play, because we already have Yedlin, Krafth and Manquillo on the books.

    It's yet another deal that isn't adding up to me.

    Looks like a done deal. Initial loan with option to buy for £20m in the summer, due on Tyneside for a medical tomorrow.

    Let's see if he can turn oxford inside out on Sat along with Bentaleb.
