Didn’t any of you surprise your lady friend with a pearl necklace?

Birthdays, valentines... she always gets one. The best is at Christmas when she wakes up disoriented and I say “he’s been”.

Here is your public service reminder to all you hopeless romantics, Valentines Day tomorrow, so what plans have you got to treat your lucky other halves?! Don't forget the drill, they may say not to bother, they won't mean it, (I don't mean a drill literally or you may get more than you bargained for.) On the other hand, I guess, maybe the older/and or grumpy ones amongst us will get more excited about Pancake Day today?!
Or perhaps you're on the list below??

I am on the older part of your eqation and probably on the grumpy part as well, but I digress Tigress, my other half and I are just back from a short trip over to Bruges, ferry to and from Hull to Zebrugge and coach to Bruges. Whilst there it was lunch in an Italian restaurant complete with vino. A very full day in delightful Bruges and the ferry home, the attraction on board were the Jersey Boys and a marvelous trio of girl who would have made a great 3 Degrees tribute act. All in all a pleasant 3 days (nearly) away. Not as lavish as our last Valentine day trip a couple of years ago when on that occasion it was a bottle of champagne, in an ice bucket, and a box of Belgian chocolates all realy in your cabin. Give me time away, home or abroad, to football any day of the week, month, year, we have many friends who lament to us that they just wished that they had done like us, only for them its too late now.
