Gotta say, I do love Saint-Maximin, he's just so entertaining on the ball, never know what he's gonna do.
Pretty ****ty first half but at least we're ahead, ASM looking sexy and Laecelles bossing it, but Miggy has been naff and Joelinton as anonymous as ever.
I'm positive he doesn't! He just has that natural skill on a ball, he clearly just wings it as he's going along and hopes for the best! Not always effective but damned fun to watch.
Looks to me as if ASM/Almiron/Joelinton as good as they maybe individually are proving they are not working together.
Might be worth sticking Gayle in - they're pushing forward - catch them on the break
They have no chemistry, specifically ASM and Almiron try and do everything themselves, Joelinton simply doesn't get any damned support up front, he just runs back and forth and hopes a stray ball lands at his feet. I think Almiron is becoming one of the most frustrating players in the side, he pisses me off when he's on the ball.
Almiron and ASM are just the same player to me. ASM weaves and winds, Almiron direct but both end up with no product for Joe Linton.
Very true, but Almiron does support his defensive significantly more than ASM does. Willems is having a torrid time because ASM just isn't giving him the support.
See this is what I don't get as we play with 3 CBs surely they should be supporitng the FBs and Almiron and ASM shouldn't be having to drop so deep especially with Longstaff (of the Sean variety) in the middle.
