This will be a marker as is to where we will be in the table come the end of the season. Conte one of my favourite managers, at Spuds now but hated him for his treatment of Costa, still wish he was here though Costa not Conte.

Spurs will never have a better chance than today, they look sharp, settled and well prepared. We look sloppy, clueless and a bit of a shambles. No one seems to know our best 11 nor our set up, we have 4 players at least unwilling or unmotivated to play and trying to leave. If there is a recruitment plan , its a well kept secret, with our weakest position, striker still unresolved.
Nevertheless, I think we might step up today and surprise everyone. One point would be better than none, and Thats what I think we might get .

Bit too much pessimism Spurf, you,re going OK.
We were shafted today by Anthony Taylor, a third rate ref with a very obvious 1st rate bias against Chelsea.
Great work by Chelsea to play so well when we are still in a bit of a mess.
Note to Audi. Reece James is wasted in defence. He’s an attacking mid/wing back.
Jorginho needs replacing, not enough strength or power for PL.
Mount is not being used properly out wide and Havertz couldn’t score in a brothel as striker.
Get rid of the garbage and set us up properly.

I hate blaming referees but that was largely why we didn't win yesterday. We were superb from start to finish and Tottenham were overwhelmed for the most part - I doubt many teams will give them a tougher game than we did yesterday.

Real turn around in form from a team still finding its feet. Plenty to like though still a bit unsettled up front. Havertz is not the answer, Broja has to be given a proper run soon and Havertz allowed to play his own game. Gallagher looked dangerous and james and the new players all had great games.

So the referee has admitted he should have gone to VAR to review the foul. This is tantamount to costing us 3 points which later down the line could be the difference between a title or a CL spot.
Will there be ramifications? Will the ref pay the difference at the end of the season? How can this be allowed to happen? Surely the video ref should have had a word in his ear and said you need to pull it back. Absolutely atrocious officiating.

What a double act, Anthony Taylor as ref and Mike dean on VAR !!!
You couldn’t pick 2 more anti Chelsea officials if you spent all season trying.
Both should be out the door ASAP, utterly hopeless ,hopelessly biased.
