In fairness to Taylor he let mainoo off for a poor foul but he has.book him now for an obvious one. Utd won't be able to make too many tackles in there now. The key here is the press. utds is non-existent. Our back 3.5 with robbo tucked in have all the time in the world. They then tactically step off the space they are supposedly shutting and we pass.into it. Compared to ipswich this is awfully poor tactics from utd.
Not that I'm a fan of any United kit... but the sweaty-back optical illusion on the current kit is amusingly bad.

Decent first half that; both teams playing well for most of it. Man Utd the better side for the first 15-20mins as expected before we inevitably took control. Alisson only had one shot to save, don't think Onana as made a save yet

As good as Salah's pass was for Diaz for the second, there were 6 united players to Liverpools 2 so the United defender (Martinez?) should have been tight to Diaz and he wouldn't have scored
Utd blew themselves out after twenty minutes of pressing. Although Diaz has scored two goals he has not played that well. Several times before he scored he had an easy pass to make but instead chose to try and take on two Utd players and lost out each time. Best player for us first half was Gravenberch, and going forward not just as a sitting number 6. A third goal early on in the second half and Utd will give up. Their back 4 are abysmal, no one was at the back post for the cross that led to our second goal.
Utd need something to gee them up. If we make an error here they will get the crowd firing so it's time to pass them to sleep. 50 passes then go forward and score and see the manc crowd abandon them Just no brain fart errors here please.
