After dragging Norwich fans to Tyneside on a midweek night in September, the ever-generous EFL have repaid the favour to Magpie followers, consigning them to Carrow Road on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

An unspecified number of away section tickets will be on public sale from the ground on matchday.

Where:
Carrow Road NR1 1JE (27,220)
Nearest railway station: Norwich (0.5 miles)
Return mileage from SJP: 515 miles

Team:
Vurnon Anita and Rolando Aarons remain out, but Dwight Gayle returns to the squad from injury.
Ex-Ipswich player Daryl Murphy will expect a hostile reception if he features - failing to score or win any of the five East Anglian derbies he featured in.

However he was rather more successful against the Canaries back in his mackem days, scoring in one appearance and also winning 4-1 at Carrow Road.

Stats:Current Championship table - top 7:

NCFC:
Graham Dorrans and Louis Thompson are both knackered, while Ivo Pinto, Mitchell Dijks and Steven Naismith plus a couple of other unspecified players are doubts. Alex Tettey is back from suspension.

Former Magpie defender Sebastien Bassong hasn't featured for Norwich in the league since Boxing Day.

Alex Neil's side are the current top home scorers in the Championship with 34 - one more than ourselves.

They've reeled off eleven victories, drawn once (0-0 against Sheffield Wednesday) and been beaten three times (Preston 0-1, Leeds 2-3, Huddersfield 1-2).

Referee: Andrew Madley - brother of top-flight official Bobby and making a third appearance in charge of us this season, following on from a 4-1 home league win against Reading and 6-0 EFL Cup tonking of Preston.

Now this is a proper match thread. This is going to be a tough game but we are on the title push and can't be derailed now.

As CC is always right I am also going with 2-1 to the Toon and him to finally end his barren run with Rachel in the gym.

Another scrappy 1-0 to us i think. We are not firing on all cylinders at the moment and teams are now starting to man mark Shelvey every game to try and stop us. I`m, amazed they have just realised that this may be the way to stop us. As Ferguson said, "its squeaky Bum time"

No love lost between the two sides as the Toon roll into town and re-enact the St Valentine's day massacre.

What a pile of ****ing dogshit this thread is.
Far too much information and effort put in to cut and paste here. No more than a 1*.
Apologies to the board but I've been busy with some Turks this past few days on a work thing... oh and being stabbed in the back by those snidey ****s Obi and Trev. You will sleep with the fishes....
Normal match thread service will resume later in the week.

I think we will get beat tonight.... 2-0.

You only seem to lose to teams who bring a defensive game to you, and snatch it.

I reckon they'll attack you from the first minute, and you'll pick them off for fun. Norwich are a sack of **** as a football club, I hope we don't see them in this league again for a long time.

I hope so. Less the "not seeing them in the league for a long time" and more "picking them off for fun" 1-3 Toon

4-2 win with Rafa seeing the light and abandoning his defensive shackles at home after an epiphany, following a visit by Chaos at 3.06pm today

You have much to learn my fat Padawan if you think this is 1* and that your efforts are 'normal'.
As for the so called back-stabbing, that's what you get for being the mafia don. I see it as providing a service to the community. :)
