Agree 100% Cattermole is what you need in your annual scrap, he's the last thing you need if you plan to mount an assault on the top 10.

I wondered how long it'd be before you started chatting about Rooney's hair. I don't particularly want Rooney to be part of the future of my club, one more season should do it I think, but his medal count backs up how good he's been, same as Cattermole.

Well those guys are all overpriced. I know what you mean though, it's just that to be honest I don't think we'd get much more than 5 mil for Catts. It's not that I don't rate him. What would you say?
I would say around £10m by today's prices. Comfortably as good as most I've seen go for that sort of money recently. But if you compare him to Kirchhoff, around £200k!!
It wouldn't feel right selling him for only 5 as he's been such a useful player for us and still is, I think Stoke were interested years ago but not heard of any other bids in a long time that I can remember. If he can keep his current form up I'd want him to stay with us for the rest of his career.
