Really you think it is that simple ? Or TF/QPR Board would allow Harry to be so childish.

That is complete "lala" thinking !! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

From the Mirror:
Harry Redknapp has sealed a deal to take Mauro Zarate to Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

And the 27-year-old West Ham striker has aimed a furious parting shot at Sam Allardyce, accusing the Hammers boss of refusing to play him because he was signed by chairman David Sullivan.

So KD - Managers never have petty gripes and then don;t play players - they're never childish ..... Football is run but level headed analysts...

Well, that must be the quietest London derby I've ever attended and certainly one of the worst. Match of the Day probably won't bother showing any of it!
Green - 6 - Usual dodgy kicking, which seems to be happening almost every game.
Isla - 6 - Good on the ball and tried to get forward. Bad decision making.
Dunne - 6 - Solid. A couple of dodgy looking moments.
Caulker - 8 - His best game for us. Gets better and better imo.
Hill - 6 - Tries his best.
Hoilett - 5 - Attacks as often as possible, but as well documented, awful final ball. Often had 3 men on him though.
Henry (MOTM) - 8 - Absolutely superb. Without his covering across the entire back 4 following us giving the ball away time and again, we would have lost by 2 or 3 imo.
Barton - 2 - Absolutely ****-covered awfulness!! He managed a couple of decent passes and deliveries, but apart from that Joey simply gave them the ball over and over and over again. Very nearly cost us the game at the death by again..............giving the ****ing ball away. You are not Paul Scholes Joey!!!! Run around a lot and then PLAY IT SIMPLE FOR ****'S SAKE!
Fer - 6 - Would have been a 5, but he had two very good efforts on goal, one of which that was kept out by an excellent save.
OBZ - 5 - Very ineffective.
Austin - 5 - Equally ineffective. Looked leaden footed and never seemed to anticipate anything.
Subs:
Vargas - 4 - Has totally lost all confidence it seems. Only at QPR!
Phillips - 5 - At least tried to get down the flank, but produced nothing.

There are one or two mitigating excuses for the ****e that we served up today.
2 games in 2 days is never easy and Charlie especially seemed to suffer.
Playing 2 central midfield players against 3 is always going to make it very hard for limited players to create much in the middle. This probably leads Joey to think that he must try something....he just shouldn't!
Trouble is, Charlie has benefited hugely from playing 4-4-2 and we would be right down the bottom of the league without his goals! Also, Fer looks likely to be our most creative player and is ineffective playing on the left. We can't really play him centrally though in a two man midfield as we'd be even more open. I can't really see a solution, as Charlie isn't suited to playing up top on his own, so we'll have to continue with the **** football at home and hope for the best.
Even a tubby Taarabt, with a dodgy attitude and playing on one leg would have created more than any of our shower did today! Thank Christ Palace were just as bad!
I'd definitely play 4-2-3-1 at home to Swansea, or else they will hammer us!

I think you need to clean your shades. You're way too negative and gave ratings that were lower than most people would, although you're right on a few.

Barton always has a bad pass in him but, even by his standards, his distribution in this match was awful. I think he had a 100% record with corners and free kicks: regrettably, it was 100% s***e. He also seemed to go looking, ball at feet, to have a tussle with one or other opposition player just to show what a big strong lad he is (or isn't, as it turned out). Fer had the same tendency today.

I've always had some time for Hoilett who did his usual trick of attracting opposition players like a magnet attracts iron filings but, unfortunately, he too chose to exhibit his worst attribute, the awful final ball. Again and again and again...

I very much agree with Col: Henry and Caulker were excellent.

We've had some good entertainment at HQ recently but, here, the combination of poor ball retention and head tennis made this a very trying day and not worth my 6 hour round trip up from Somerset. I'm looking forward to New Year's Day, I think.

Really?

Look at the ratings given by Clive on LFW & you will see that Col was quite generous!

the only one I disagreed with was Isla who I thought was our best player.

I must admit, for the second game running I'm seeing the game differently from the consensus (maybe its the time of year?). I thought it was a decent game, although far from great. Plenty of missed passes for sure but that was also due to the high tempo pressing from Palace who I was very impressed with. They look a really decent team. Well drilled, very physical and extremely committed. They look better than the sum of their parts. Fair play to the Palace setup for knitting together a competitive PL team with such meager resources.

I thought our commitment was good (although Nines who was at the game questioned it. There's some things you can only see in the Stadium vs on a Screen). I felt we matched them physically and gave good effort throughout. Perhaps that's why Barton is so miffed at the booing. But if he learned to pass the ball to his teammates he wouldn't get booed.

Yesterday was a classic tale of two scrappy teams cancelling each other out. I don't necessarily think that makes for a bad game. When my team's involved I often find such games compelling. Okay, its probably different if you've paid a lot of hard earned to go and watch it. You want to see entertaining football. Hoilett made a meal of a very good chance near the end when the ball fell nicely for him just outside the box. If Fer or Austin were on the end of that I think they might have buried it.

We need to beat Swansea now. If we do we're back on track but we're making it very hard for ourselves.

Good post there mate. I've said on here before that it really is all a matter of opinions and how you view the game in general, I guess I was just anticipating a more technical affair, especially from us. Agree that Palace were extremely well drilled though, really don't think they'll go down, especially now Pardew is in the frame.

Agree Swansea is now what most people would call a "must win" game, especially with some of the clubs around us changing managers etc, it's going to be a very interesting couple of weeks.

Knowing the result before watching this game, meant it was an extremely boring watch. 3 attempts at watching sent me to sleep 3 times, it was that dire. Both Palace and us looked relegation favourites. Think we desparately need a creative player in attacking midfield. From what I saw Barton was our best player- he seemed to be involved twice as much as anyone else, and most of it was good, repeatedly switching play and spreading the ball forward and wide to the players further forward who mostly lost it again. Hoilett, Austin, OBZ and Vargas when he came on were daff. Fer woke up for a couple of good attempts and that was about all the attacking intent I saw. If there isn't a big improvement against a good Swans team Harry should be moved out, but the continual struggles away and to beat even relegation candidates at home seem good enough for Tony F and Co unfortunately.

I saw much the same from my seat in the Ellerslie Road on the day, and it's interesting that most on here saw a completely different player. I also watched the highlights on MOTD and it's telling that Joey Barton's last contribution was to fluff a ball into the box - not once but twice - followed by Palace's last attack and the goalmouth scramble. Again Joey Barton involved and not in a good way. Perhaps that last passage of play and the booing is what is most remembered; hence the criticism.

Lads, one thing Barton doesn't do is hide. He will always see more of the ball than the others because for some reason Redknapp is playing him as the person the others give the ball too. Of course he lacks even the most basic tools to do the job of playmaker, Redknapp is living in some kind of alternative reality if he thinks Barton is a premier league standard creative midfielder.

I agree with DT, his best position, if we have to play him, might be right back, with Isla in front of him to cover for his chronic lack of pace.

May I humbly suggest that you possibly fell asleep most times when Barton had the ball?

Barton gave the ball away time after time after time. And he so nearly lost us the game in the dying seconds...........firstly he gave the ball away in midfield, again. Then he raced back to try to make up for his error and after Green saved made a terrible first touch which meant he then had to lunge for the ball and proceeded to up-end Campbell. We were so lucky not to concede a goal or a penalty there.

Having said that, Joey gives us much needed energy in the middle of the park which is difficult to replace with the current playing staff.

Sorry mate, i didnt fall asleep and watched the game looking for his mistakes. you got that one wrong and whilst he was not brilliant, may i humbly sugggest (as you did to DT) that you are letting your emotions cloud your judgement/perception.
He was no way as bad as you made him out, and that comes from someone who hates him with a passion.

try watching it again in the cold light of day, sober, with no outside influences and an open mind. you may see what some of us see.
Or you may not...? <ok>

I confess I was asleep at the end so I missed what you describe. Though I could try again! When I was awake he was as said all over and I don't remember any of his passing going astray, though one or two of his corners weren't good. He hit many good short passes and some very good long ones into space behind their defense which the English commentator was praising.

All I can say mate is that this is one of those prime examples of people seeing the same game very differently. You don't remember ANY of Barton's passes going astray? Really?

Your posts get more and more bizarre!
\No they dont make..just you keep getting more like butthead every day

FYI - Other people have "different" and "correct" and even " better" opinion than you.. Deal with it FFS

You were a great poser Col but are rapidly making yourself out as "something else" not worthy of the cred you possibly deserve..

Pull your head in and get back n your game <ok>
