A man, a manager of a football club who abuses and rants kicks things and throws complete fits cannot believe clutterbug is lying and that he abused Mikel, he certainly did Torres

Fergie believed Evra funnily enough. But cos it aint one of his players suspected of racism it can be brushed aside because Fergie thinks it aint true, which i s one of the biggest problems facing people suffering it, being believed and trying to prove it
And here we have a prominent figure coming out and saying.. Ahh its unthinkable said Fergie, how can you get a fair hearnig when thats the opinion of Fergie and probably the FA, without any facts whatsoever, with one hand he pretends to back anti racism and with the other shows us one of the problems getting justice for it<laugh> <doh> Fergie <doh>

Of course he is going to come out and back his lackey.

Of course, you could twist this and say we believed Suarez didn't do anything and it was all lies from Evra but then we believe the Torres stuff. same principle <ok>

PS - I'm sure the mancs won't make any comments regarding us having an article about Fergie <ok>

This. The crux of his comments are that referees in general don't swear and use bad language, and have almost never been reported as having done so, whereas players do so pretty much all the time. What a controversial comment that is!! <laugh>

No comments needed. It's par for the course for certain Liverpool posters <whistle>

Ferguson 'I think it’s unthinkable. It’s unthinkable in the modern climate. I just don’t believe it. There’s no way a referee would stoop that low. I’m convinced of that'

Maybe Rio was right and the Kick it Out campaign just isn't working.

Hes losing track of time.

"The way we see the game today rather than how it was 25 years ago, it has completely changed. I played myself and I know that the banter which went on between referees and players 25 years ago is different to today."

He retired from playing in 1974.

<whistle>

Answer this honestly, do you think Clattenburg racially abused the Chelsea players?

I don't even know why fergie was asked the question. this is between Chelsea, Clattenberg & the FA - it's not as though they asked Martin O'Neil or Andre Villas Boas... why does he have to stick his red nose in to everything?

Yes he did.

Nor does he in that passage say that he was playing 25 years ago.

As you said, he was asked the question so it's not quite the same as sticking his red nose into the issue.

Also, the incident took place during a game between Chelsea and Manchester United. As you may be aware, Fergie is the manager of Manchester United.

Finally, as he runs the FA, the Premier League and the United Nations it will ultimately be fergie who decides on the guilt or innocence of Clattenburg so Suarez can expect to be punished severely.

On the balance of probabilities (eg... one mans word against anothers...) .... Yes

He was wired up to his assistants and fourth official.

Do you still?

Or is this all about your utter disgust and outrage at Ferguson having the temerity to answer a question.

The reason Martin O Neil wasn't asked is because Chelsea weren't playing Sunderland.

Obviously.
