    See that from BBC Salford?

Yet fourth is ok if it's City or Arsenal because they've been ****ing awesome, right?

Post it on the Dipper board. If you're not going to I will as it will confuse the **** out of King Dipper Paige The Tedious.

If United gets a fourth place , LVG must be the luckiest manager around. And should go and buy the lotto.

A seriously weakened team actually catching up on the top 4. Unbelievable ****ing unbelievable. <ok>

Varela is impressing me more each game and I really like the way Memphis is putting in the hard work defensively and running the clock down when we get corners at the end of a game, he shields the ball very well.

Weakened in defence without Smalling, but I think the rest of the team actually look strengthened.

A waste of time. The RS /dippers are triumphant but cheesed off for allowing United to catch up on City <laugh>

Since the clueless twat has been forced to pick young players who haven't been soiled by his philosophy and under pressure to actually win the odd game, the football has been better to watch. It wasn't great this evening but they had a go in the last 30 minutes. That wasn't the philosophy in action. If getting top 4 means he gets another season then I'd rather we finished outside of the CL places.

Oh look..Stan talks sense between the clichés.

Both our teams are over spent, over paid, over hyped ****ers.

They don't know what to do with a trophy hunt.

Most of you arseholes will paint a daft picture that fifth is good because it's above us in sixth..(my prediction)

It's just damn poor on both our parts.

No wonder our clubs are trying to create another league.. We aren't winning this one near future lol..

It'll hurt you boys more to admit that than us.. A billion dollar failure can't be great?

In the PL era you've spent nearly as much as us. In the 90's Liverpool outspent United. We have a **** load more to show for our investment. If either club has failed it's Liverpool.

Really? We've failed by not winning the league for a couple of years. Don't throw Liverpool into the same hat as us though, it's going to be 27 years and counting after this one.

Looking at the club's above United I'd say with a few tweaks we will be very much in the hunt for the league as none of the four clubs are really all that, only Leicester and Spurs look a cut above and even then not massively better. City and Arsenal are simply no better than us, anyone can see that. (bar the media of course)

That doesn't apply to Liverpool by the way, you're miles away from level.

Liverpool have just been unlucky for the past 26 years. For most of that time they've been the best team in the league. A combination of the FA, the Premier League, BBC Salford, the Referees Association, the National Jockey Club, Blue Peter, the cast of Cheers, Dappy from N Dubz, Dame Judi Dench, Borat and Sal from Impractical Jokers have cheated Liverpool out of countless titles.

    This calls for a petition.

I can't believe that some people are seeing the prospect of finishing 4th as an achievement. Put in in the context of a crap season - it is still a crap result for a club of our stature and, worse still, increases the likelihood that LvG will be our manager next season.

Anyone else think it is no coincidence that our recent run of good form is down to Rooney being out and the youngsters being able to play more freely, more likely to have a pop themselves without the constant pressure to feed him the ball?

On point 1, on the grand scheme of things it's not an achievement but in the context of how awful we've been it'll be a miracle and therefore by default an achievement.

On point 2, no I don't agree. It is a coincidence. The aim is to get it to the striker regardless of who that is so I don't see why there's more pressure when it's Rooney.

We didn't exactly play well last night either, we just got the job done.
