A question for President UIR When Moyes was in charge the regular dull and ineffective performances were all his fault, not the players. LVG has had the luxury of taking over pretty much the same squad, getting rid of the players he didn't want and spending £250million on new players to create a squad to fit in with his feelossofee. Yet it's the players, Giggsy's and the fans' fault that many of the performances have been dull and ineffective. How does that work?
Its no one mans fault Stan, that's how. Its real easy.... Wait, what am I saying!! Its all van Gaals fault, lol of it. Even Chelsea's troubles are clearly van Gaals fault. war in Syria? Yep, you guessed it. Football is in no way a team sport requiring a collective groul to work together to achieve success. Absolutely not.
Who is in team UIR BTW, I need to make up a tedious welcome pack and I haven't received the list of new members. Are you joining Stan? Emphasis on the word tedious here. Its our common trait, so I am told.
Interesting. I don't think I've personally said everything is LVG's fault. He's the majority blameholder though. That's undeniable. The rest of your post I disagree with. I don't see how Chelsea's troubles or the war in Syria can be pinned on LVG. That's standard UIR nonsense. I believe football is a team sport but I don't know what groul has got to do with it.
Did your ever listen to any of Moyes post match interviews? Lol Forget about the team, the man was in a dream. At least we are arguing over philosophy now, Moyes had nothing to define him as a man.
Moyes was a disaster. But no one can chuck him under the bus and then make endless (baseless) excuses for LVG who has had a lot more to work with. Lack of consistency = lack of credibility.
I would liken the current situation to this... Man United was the sick patient that got caught a disease called Moyestrophy. United then called on a doctor called LVG who has his methods which through recommendations had worked for several patients. Thing started looking better for the patient but lately, the patient has stopped responding to treatment. I guess combination of patient not taking his meds as directed by Dr. LVG, and Dr. LVG starting to appear as though he has consumed all his options. So for the patient to get better going forward, either Dr. LVG is given more time and money to try a new approach or the parents of United seek a better doctor from another hospital in Germany. Those are the only options.
UiR really is an utter gimp. I am trying to fathom why on earth Moyes was made the scapegoat in UiR's mind yet Van Gaal can not put a foot wrong doing the same, but with £250 million chucked in for good measure. Moyes was bad, but even he got you out of the CL group stage. Van Gaal is delivering bang average football and bang average results, for a hefty fee. People talk about Mourinho spending money, but at least the club gets a return on its investment in terms of silverware (though probably not this season but he did spend f**k all in the summer)
He spent enough for a team that had just won the league. There is zero excuse for why the are where they are this season.
I aint trying to make one mate. Even if he spent nothing for the next 3 summers there is no excuse for being down in relegation alley.
Overall though, I think we need to start respecting the league. Lately, reputation means jacksht. You don't win games before kicking the ball as it was 15 years ago when top team repeatedly had free reign. The league is ever more competitive now than at any other recent time. When English teams were playing poorly in Champions League earlier in the season, everyone was quick to call the league sht. They were quick to suggest we would lose the fourth spot. But as it worked out, England now has 3 teams in last 16. Same as Spain. Could have been four if not for fkry of United. It shows how fickle football analysis is. I'm willing to bet that at least two of them would get to the last 8.
