With 2 quick substitutions, Van Gaal has totally changed the dynamics of the game. The guy is a real fcktard.
 
That just typifies United under Van Gaal.

Mata in the 6 yard box, receives the ball in acres of space. Does he shoot? No, looks for a pass, becomes undecided and the moment is gone.
 
That was such a poor Palace side, they were there to be rinsed. We should have played better in the first half.

I watched it all. I thought we played well in the second half but the first half was poor. There was so much space behind between the Palace midfield and defence, I couldn't understand why we were choosing to pass back and sideways when we had runners in those pockets to run behind Palace. This is where the likes of Spurs are showing us up. It's really the ONLY difference between us and them, and why they're winning matches by 3/4 goals and we're struggling to score.

It was quite an open game, especially in the first half. There was more attacking at least and I've seen much worse first halfs at OT this season ( which is not saying much I realise). We should really have taken more of the chances created. Martial had at least 2 great chances.

Bring on Everton and Roberto after their mauling at the RS.

Everton are a fcking shambles. Small club mentality shown by Martinez today. You fluff a derby game bcos your eye is on an FA Cup semi-final. Has he not learned anything from Wigan <doh> Pathetic. I hope we beat them, but it's a cup game and they'll probably raise their game for it.

At least we've got some form back. Tough run in but if we focus and not make any mistake we should be able to challenge the top 4. Arsenal is our target.

We definitely played better, don't get me wrong that 2nd half was enjoyable for the most part. But if we can't score more than 1 against this crap Palace side, that's poor. I'd like us to actually score confidentally from open play. One thing that frustrated tonight was how many of our players have such a poor first touch, so annoying. Martial is the only one who knows how to control a ball first time.

I wish I had your optimism. Have you seen our remaining games. I think we'll actually end up fighting for (yep fighting for) 5th.
