Imagine what is happening in Matths mums house right now... No don't. Seriously don't. I just did and it was quite scary (although I'm looking forward to the video )
Yeah, we do. Depay has has a couple of poor games, might be time to put him on the bench and give Young a run
What a bloody week!! - De Gea signs the contract and gives us a great GK and money if he leaves -We beat the RS clowns and kick start our season -The RS provide our expensive kid the best start possible The bloody RS have their uses as our bitch
Brendan Rodgers: "We improved on last season's result. No one can take that away. I have nothing but praise for my team." #MUFC
Louis van Gaal's record vs. Liverpool since becoming Man United boss (incl. friendlies) WWWW Goals: 11 Conceded: 3
Good 2nd half performance against a poor Liverpool side, but still concerned about our lack of depth up front. Still can't see Fellaini offering anything other than an alternative as sub. Schweinsteiger was clearly MOM, he was everywhere and hopefully he can stay fit and I also think Carrick was very good. Martial's goal was very well taken and has clearly got great potential given his strength and speed. Liverpool look a mess to be honest, as funny as I find that, Brendan must be on the edge given the time and money he has had to spend. He really has pulled together a bunch of mediocre players together who look consigned to mid table.
I think that's a decent squad that should be doing better than it is. Rodgers has given up imo. A dead man walking. Agree with what you say about lack of depth up front, but would add that it could be mitigated if we allowed our attacking players to be let off the shackles also. How many times did we win the ball in that first half, then with one or two quality passes opened up that Liverpool team and found our players with possession in lots of space..... only to check back and pass sideways, slowing the play down and allowing them to reorganise. What's worrying is the exact same thing has happened against Newcastle and Swansea and Spurs. And when you gather up the results it really is pot luck whether we win playing that way. As a derby against our biggest rivals it's a great result. In the context of our season it actually gives no indication of what will happen against PSV or Southampton away next week. That's what's so worrying. You look back 12 months and despite the changes in personnel, do you see any progression in our football?
