OK... this might sound daft but can you make substitutions after 11.45am???

 

Herrera starts. Grateful for small mercies tbh. I would have happily had an attack of Young - Depay - Mata

A lot of noise regarding out near 4000 game record this week. It continues as McNair is on the bench.

As is Martial, who looking at the striking options, looks set for his debut.

 

You can make subs up until the kick off of the first game of the 'match round'. Once the early kick off has started you can't change it for that week

So in effect my Aguero sub won't be worthwhile until next weeks matches. He was my captain too, so this week he got me a measly 4 points!!


But you can make subs whenever you want, they just won't become active until the week is complete, if made during the games.

 

Fellaini is a good call to be fair, against a defence like Liverpool s, with the mutant thug and the gaping hole that is Lovren. Fellaini should be bullying them with ease.

 

So there's no point in me making subs for the United/Livpl game now (not that I need to as Rooney is out and I dropped him).

Yeh he only got me 4 pts also. I think I need to transfer both my strikers

 

Putting Aguero is daft. He is guaranteed to get injured.

League is 5hit for strikers tbf. Rooney, Aguero, Benteke, Costa are the options and you need to pick 2 good ones.

 

Somehow though he usually ends up with a good total on FF every season... and every season he gets injured

Going to be an interesting day for defenders...

 

It's worth having a punt on one of the cheap lower league club strikers. Vardy would be a good example. Last season I had Naismith and he was counted as a midfielder and got me tons of points and cost next to nothing.

Someone like Wilson for Bournemouth would be a good shout. They'll score a few this season (not today!!) and you can bet Wilson will get most of them. Plus it gives you more money to spend on goal scoring midfielders. Or big assist points - Silva etc.

Lets be honest though, there is so much luck involved @InBiscanWeTrust thinks it's all about skill and knowledge
