It really is hysterical reading some of the 'always been a United fan' tweets and reports. One report said a total annihilation with 62% possession and an incredible 29 shots of which 9 were on target!!!!!!! That basically means some 66% missed the target. To any fan reading this, it proves one thing, you aren't anywhere near as good as you'd like to think .. YET..... Fantastic, unreal, awesome....NO!!! not yesterday... Your wonder boy Marcus (as good as he undoubtedly is and he is) came on with 23 minutes to go against a tiring team without the ability to make changes. You failed to mention the previous 67 minutes when what £300/£400 million of footballers couldn't blow a house down and then it took you another 26 minutes to finally make it count.. You're a very very good team, with an amazing manager but along way from being a great team YET. Not bitter, but realistic. I think you might just win it this season however.
^^^^ We have a very good group of players. Don't think anyone has said we're a great team yet though. Also don't worry about the stats about possession or shots on target. Most United fans are happy with how we played and our attacking ethos. It was great to watch. IF the game had ended 0-0 I would have still been delighted by our performance.
Squad looks ridiculously better balanced than last season and the quality off the bench is very promising. Mourinho seems to have a very clear vision of how his squads and his teams should be set up which is a nice contrast to all that muddled philosophy nonsense.
no one is saying we are a great team yet !! we just said we seen many glimpses of vintage UTD over the past matches Hull defended with numbers .. ask Liverpool how they failed to crack that facing Burnely.. is tough facing teams that park the bus. and yes Hull were tired, bcz our players kept changing positions, attacked in different directions and styles.. Jose himself played a rule tiring them by changing play from one flank to another too often but yes not a great team yet, but so promising so far, yesterday i was happy with our approach even if we drew .. we defended well, and kept attacking with plan A & B and C and yes is kind being bitter, bcz no one mentioned we are a great team like before now.. is like seeing your friend happy after he got an A in an exam, and instead of saying "well done", you say "nahh don't get overjoyed we still have other tests to come"
Tiger's post is bitter!! Every time someone brings money spent into a match day thread, it is always the bitter side speaking. He also pointed out that Rashford scored because everyone else was tired. **facepalm**
