In 1969 me dad took me to Boothferry Park to see my first City game, I was 7yrs old at the time. Ever since I have followed them through thick and thin (mainly thin until recent times), and have had numerous arguments defending them against poser supporters (we all know who they are, wear the Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal tops... tw4ts), as a result many have commented about me having black and amber blood coursing through my veins, so it seems a natural handle !!!

Yer but why did you spell black wrong ?

I've been teaching myself German for about 5 years now, Still a long way to go though.

I did it at Uni, found it really tough till I got to live out there, then it got much easier. Can still speak it and read it well enough - just don't check my grammar too much. That seems to have gone out the window.

Lol.... as has been said a lot of the black and amber names had gone, so take the `c` out and surprise surprise ya tend to get more of a shout of what ya want.

I ve done this before on here. Anyway, here goes! In 2002 City played Rushden and Diamonds at BP. The sun was shining into Mussies eyes and he was obviously struggling to see properly. He waved to the touchline for a cap. I think Glennon was pissed or summat and fancied a laugh so he was seen to disappear into the changing room before running around the touchline whilst the ball was in play to throw a red cap to Mussie, apparently to keep the sun from his eyes. Unfortunately, the hat was a a very small Macceedees type hat which a young lad would struggle to keep on his head. The sight of Mussie spending the rest of the half with one hand on his head and the hat persistently blowing from its place perched on top of head will stay with me for some time. Myself and my mates spent the whole half laughing at his struggle. Incidently I think we lost 2 - 1 to Brian Talbot's side. But I may be wrong.

By the way, on CI for many seasons we had 'DidntLikeSwindon' on the board. Guess which player that turned out to be? I think his present name is something like 'OnceScoredABelterInAWembleyPlayOffFinal'!!!

'GlennonsLastPint' was also fairly self explanatory. What ever happened to creativity?

Ich bin der Pflaumen von Herr Ashbee:emoticon-0103-cool: I speak German myself- I chose Ashbees Plums as a name because Ash always had balls as a player and led us through all the Leagues.

Do I need to explain? I use this name everywhere on the net.. BBC, CI, Vital, amber nectar, my own blog, even in an association here in France..
