Well done, you finished in the top six after you're best season in years but most players want to win trophys not finish in the top six. Liverpool had a terrible season last season but still ended up with a trophy and qualified for the same European competition that Newcastle did.

Jose wanted 2 main things when he joined Liverpool:

    1) Champions league qualification = Not achieved
    2) Spot in the Spanish squad = Not achieved

Both also unlikely whilst he remains at Liverpool...

I love Jose to bits, and will always respect him for his time here. But he deserves for being silly enough to have a twitter account. You have to live in the real world and if you do, you know this is what happens when you leave yourself open to the world. None of it nasty either, just having a bit of a sport with him. He'll probably take it in the sense its intended, given how well he knows the mentality and humour of our fans.

Lets not turn this into a "my dicks bigger than yours" type thing. We all know we had the better season and were much the better side....................................;)

... And at Newcastle, if we're brutally honest.

On the Twitter account, he does have an account, which is rarely used and all in Spanish. He talks to some of our Spanish players on it a little.

The questions were sent to the #LFC hashtag.

Still, no point crying over spilt milk. Bit sad, but nothing on the abuse Arsenal fans give out.

    Torres...

Well, I personally wouldn't give him any abuse, I think it's all a bit pathetic. Of course, he'd get shedloads of abuse from LFC fans and from other football fans due to his laughable form for Chelsea. I have a strong dislike for the girl faced bastard, but I wouldn't waste my time doing it.

And, this is another thing that annoys me about football forums.

When you talk about one team, fans will always bring up an example from your team as if it exempts them from any criticism.

Regardless of what LFC fans would say to Torres, the Enrique thing is still sad. They would both be sad, in fact.

Asking why a round pizza comes in a square box is pretty harsh abuse to be fair. I agree it should have been saved for gary glitters return to twitter instead.

Precious Liverpool fans weighing in..... <laugh>

Everything I've seen written on that hashtag is just a poking fun and a good laugh. Jose will probably be having a laugh himself if he's got any sense of humour at all. It's not abusive or insulting and some of them are actually quite witty. Stop trying to prove stuff to us man, we know Liverpool are the bigger club.

No need to congratulate me, I was merely pointing out the other side of the irony.

RT @NUFCThreatLevel: #AskEnrique They say Brendan Rogers is a fan of passing. Have you mentioned your recent experience of expertly passing up a top five season?

Ah... The square box means you can put stolen goods in as well as the pizza.

Personally I don't think its bad or sad, banter plays a big part in football and that is all this is. Newcastle fans relishing their good season and finishing above us after 2 of their plays left for us. At least they didn't stoop to the lows of some Chelsea fans...no doubt there would have been some more abusive ones filtered out but it would happen from all club's fans.

    I particularly like this one...

    Thought it was quite funny.

I cringed when I saw the title to this thread as I thought that it would be about the type of supporters that every club wishes they didn't have heaping hatred and vitriol at Jose, who I've always liked. In fact, though, it's pretty light hearted urine extraction, and some of them are actually funny.

If anyone took offence at this, they need to retire from the world to the serenity of a new age retreat. Personally, I like the thought of Jose having a laugh at some of them and having to get others explained to hi (What do they mean about "those meddling kids" ? )
