Well, for starters, their abysmal performance in the World Cup was three games, and their qualifying was actually pretty solid, it just happened they were with Spain. You can also have an advantage in the rankings by being in a less competitive continent or by playing fewer friendlies (Switzerland)! It's too much based on luck of the draw, fortunate geography and, for some reason, friendlies.
Germany started well but missed their chances. They have been too predictable and slow since. Pick it up!
Yeah! ASA strengths lie in that hard working midfield, making it hard for the teams they have played against so far to get much joy. Jones and Beckerman have such great engines, and even Bradley who didn't have the best of games against Portugal is more like his usual self today.
Klose comes on to try and make that record his own. I hope he does it, just not to the detriment of ASA!

Should be supporting the USA, because should never want Germany to win. You know what happens, they get above themselves and invade Poland However, I can't get passed how annoying Americans are when they talk about football (or any sport for that matter)....sound like over excited toddlers.
