Not sure it will do w whole lot to help... The surface doesn't seem to want to retain a whole load of rubber. Did they go ahead and clean that side?
The BBC have actually picked up on EMSC's suggestion about RB changing Webber's gearbox. Apparently they won't do it though. I suppose you move him forward one place, for him to maybe lose 2, so it's not that much of a gain, especially as you've no idea what the first lap will bring. Having Webber as a rear gunner makes more sense.
If they didn't need/want to change it, I believe they could just break the seal and still be penalized.
