To be honest it looked like he did nail that lap pretty sweetly in my opinion, the track was also getting better and Alonso and Lewis didn't really bother trying to set anything faster at the end. The only thing that could get worse for Ferrari and McLaren is that RBR will likely bring more upgrades for FP2 next.
Forza, the Mclaren wings you posted, are they definitely new and old (if so, which way around?), or is one just a higher downforce option? It looks like more than just a small tweak between them, the top one would surely give more downforce, and I don't see why Mclaren wouldn't have taken advantage of that space before.
I'm not that worried about the gap. New tires at the end of the session when the track conditions were a lot better on a new track no-one knows anything about.
