What a shame the Massa/Hamilton battle was cut short, can only assume Massa had warnings prior to the drive-thru being issued. Would seem unduly harsh for it to be given for a first time offence.
There's been sod all to talk about and with members throwing hissy fits, leaving etc it has left everyone a bit short of meaningful F1 related material!
Well i only watched the last few laps (as with most of the last few races), seemed like this one wasn't too dreadful. Rain and a fairly mixed up result, inevitable RB 1-2 aside. Still, thank **** this season is over. 2014 may not be much better, but it will have to try very hard to be worse.
I'm nearly in tears, Mark's the reason I got into F1, and to see him so happy after a couple years of just being miserable is really nice to see. Some more memorable Mark moments, taking the helmet off in the car, slipping on his face on the podium
It was definitely Hamilton's fault, despite Coulthard's tenuous interpretation of the rule book. He blamed Maldonado for being driven into as well. Shocking performance from DC. Pretty good race as usual in Brazil, albeit with a predictable result. Shame Grosjean's race ended so early, probably would've challenged for a podium. Massa's drive through was completely ridiculous, the stewards really need to have a look at themselves in the off-season.
Bottas was a lap down so it's up to him to not cause an incident, and not to mention he had another half a cars width to the right, his fault completely. He deserved to go out of the race after that.
Let us never speak of this season again. The amount of people who have switched off this season is scary, this has probably been the worst season I have seen in my life. Penalties seemed weird today, Massa punished for doing very little, Hamilton pushed despite having to do a lap with 3 tyres when a car tried to un-lap itself.
I was following live timing during the first half of the race and wow, Red Bull were in another league in sector 2 (usually around 0.5 faster than Alonso, who was about equal to Hamilton). The other teams need to do better - how embarassing for them, that Red Bull can mess up a pitstop and easily retain the lead. Anyway I'm glad the 2013 dominance is over. Hopefully things are different next year. Oh and what was going on with that Massa penalty? Pit exit I would understand, but who gets a penalty for crossing the line on pit entry? Ridiculous.
