Only because he's not played with better players. Look at some of our players now.

Squad player at a push, we should be aimimg for higher quality now, and i think we will be.

Harrison would be like when we signed Burn, Targett, Wood etc.

Trippier, Bruno, Botman, Isak...this is the standard of players now, we don't need to sign players to keep us in the league anymore, we want players to try and win the league.

Harrison ship has sailed for me, we’ve gone too far and he’s not a big enough upgrade on Murphy. Diaby, Thuram, Maddison. Diaby is more like Almiron, dynamic and fast, but Thuram and Maddison are more flexible for our very fluid “shuffle” system.

Diaby is a non starter maddison is injured mate...Harrison and thuram and we're far stronger Harrison is a huge upgrade on Murphy and he can play right or left wing.

He's also prem proven and can come straight in and help the toon finish top 4 .

    Then diaby

Ideal addition imo .. Harrison over max in certain games also we'll need a squad not an 11.

People want fancy names mostly unproven but we've been clever so far .. Dan Burn signing was said to be underwhelming and look at him.

The best signings aren't always the most popular names . Give me good players atm

Yes I agree with this . People baulking at Harrison need to trust the club.

I would also take Thuram in a heartbeat and both would be immense signings.

This is a race not a sprint.

Seriously, I’d love it if we unloaded Harrison, he’ll give you six cracking games a season, the rest you’ll score him 4/10

We need a better player than him and we’re bottom end of the table, if you think he’ll help you remain top 6 you’re so wrong. He didn’t make it off the bench against City

He’s a confidence player, in fairness to him he has recently been playing on the right rather than left but we’d rather see the injured Sinisterra or the returning U21 player Summerville ahead of him.

He wasn’t consistent enough under Bielsa, now Bielsa has departed he is even worse.

Maybe if he’s playing in a team that’s got a winning habit he’ll do well and remain up there with what he can do. I’ll attach a screen shot of what you’ll find if you search the Leeds forum for Harrison. ADC00BD3-3E98-44D7-9CA9-70FD65E64638.jpeg

Maybe Eddie can get the best out of him on a continued basis. Good luck to him if he joins you, we need the money to strengthen other areas, he’s a likeable guy with a great engine and he’s gone downhill under our current coach.

I’m probably saying all this and he’ll start against you on Saturday and be the stand out player, we can only hope <ok>

If I have learnt anything since the takeover it is this:

Coaching in football is everything, you can turn gold into lead with a bad coach and vice versa.

I think if Harrison has shown glimpses of quality and is a good personality, Howe can do something with him.

Just because Eddie seems to be good at coaching players we shouldn't start thinking that we can buy mediocre players and Eddie will turn them into world beaters. Both Almiron and Joelinton came in as highly rated players who seriously underperformed under Bruce. Howe has just got them playing in the correct positions and given them confidence. Harrison has never struck me as a potential star - we should steer well clear of him. We will get far better value looking overseas.
