Rooney hasn't travelled for this must win Europa paint trophy match. Perhaps he has some important family matter to attend to such as a photo shoot with the kids for the press........... or might it even be a tactical thingy by our European class manager.

Should be fun to see Martial play where he ought to be or will de Gea be used as lone striker.

They play terrible footy, fair is fair of course over the 2 legs they deserved to beat us, but they were worse to watch than you have been this season so I wouldn't expect an exciting game <laugh>

Bit of a joke they're charging £71 a ticket though.

My bet is on De Gea in central midfield. He is good with the ball and has amazing passing skills.

Mata confirmed in goal for Jittery clash -

From LvG - 'He (Mata) has been in good form in goal for me in practice games so we see for this game to give him a try. I have to have confidence in my players to do different things, so we shall see with him (in goal) on Thursday. It is is a good game for him as Jittery only score goals along the ground so being small is no harm for this match'.

United should be ahead against Gent by now. Gent could have gone ahead after a decent claim for a penalty, but they're not very good and United have wasted a few chances. A bit more clinical and we'd kill this tie and be in the CL Q/F. Ahhh hold on... fck sorry, it's not United playing Gent, it's Wolfsburg from our CL group

United take lead in away leg on the stroke of half-time against the mighty AA Gent <diva>

Ahhhh fck, forgot it's Wolfsburg, the club that qualified from our group <doh>

I despair.

"Midtjylland are not the opponents you think you shall win easily against. They have played and won against Southampton who are a team that came to Old Trafford and took the three points. We shall have to play well and not concede goals from lack of concentration which is what I have told the players for all of the season. It's not like they're ****ing home and away bankers like the Dippers la. I'm not sacked, you are sacked, I sack you."

David Moyes?

3 away goals against AA Gent and the tie is indeed over. Hattrick from Fellaini <ok>

How many times have you posted that now? You seem to be back to your old attention seeking self after your long spell in hiding!

I can actually see us scoring a shed load of goals tonight. The youngsters up front can play without worrying about feeding the ball to Rooney and Carrick and Herrera should boss the midfield
