Would like to see Lawro's face now...he had us down to lose.
Hudd turned it up to 11 today. Fantastic. I did have him for first goal scorer and i was sure i was quids in so he;s still a ****. A short haired **** now. Nothing compares to his performance today in a City shirt. NOTHING.
Saw my first City game 44 years ago. Seen some good, some bad and many ugly players since. Seen some superb performances, loads of adequate performances and a lot of woeful performances. Been in crowds were I couldn't move and crowds were I could have counted every other supporter. But in all that time I've never seen as good a player playing for Hull as Tom Huddlestone. If that guy does not go to Brazil in the summer it will be a travesty.
My self-imposed absence is testing me now Was staying in for a touch of R&R, but bugger that, off out with the wife to enjoy our win and Sunderlands marvellous come-back in the pub - this is what football is about; bloody great result for us, massively valuable 3 points when you watch the WH v WBA game (enjoyed it) and then the quality of Cardiff v Sunlan. Enjoy the ride and the night.
STAT OF THE DAY: Before Christmas, Hull had scored 7 goals in 8 home games. Since Christmas, Hull have scored 8 goals in 2 home games.
****** OF THE DAY The Sunderland fan that just called up 606 to tell Robbie Savage and Co that the praise Steve Bruce is getting this season is undeserved!!!!? He didn't even know Sunderland had equalised!
Amen to that. Thudd is pure quality. His vision is extraordinary...seems to have eyes in the back of his head. If he isnt in all the pundits Team of the Week it'll be a travesty too. How a nonentity like Cleverley can be chosen by Hodgson ahead of him is inexplicable. Same goes for Davies. Both should be on the plane to Brazil.
Why are you surprised? Its Man Utd for ****s sake - they could draw 0-0 with no shots by either team and they'd be considered.
I started watching City in 1958, and I have never seen a performance like Tom Huddlestones by any other player. SB said tonight that Hudd would be very suited to playing in hot climates, as he doesn't expend energy, just what England need in Brazil.
Closely followed by the ****** with the Hull accent that rang Radio Humberside post match and started off with 'I've been to the game but I'm really a Liverpool fan...' but well done to the RH presenter (Mike White?) for putting the twat on the spot by asking him why he supports Liverpool. #****er
I couldn't believe this, I assumed they were decided before hand a la FLS. That's my only explanation for it.
What an idiot - why even admit being a Liverpool fan when you are speaking about a Hull game? Just why?
