Agreed, and really I think people are pointing at Mike now in the hope he comes in and saves us! I still think a bit of lift in the dressing room amd we have a decent set of players who can make a fist of this. Morale is shot to pieces though.
I feel for you; unable to read the oldest and noblest language spoken on these shores. In fact, I am just South of the Tyne at the moment and I am seeing no end of Welsh influences in a lot of words, even mutations, used hereabouts. And you write this nonesense for a cheap laugh.
Didn't know the Welsh were responsible for introducing polydactyly to the Mackems. How interesting. I guess it does get a little isolated in some of those valleys...
Most of the teams that come up and stay up strengthen significantly, to the tune of maybe 4 or 5 first team players, our team looks worse than the championship one.
All of which are ****e and bang average players. Why is everyone thinking this is ok. We have played three lost three. We are going down with this attitude and I can't wait for all the people who say calm Down to finally admit that we are up **** creak without a paddle. That squad is ****e.
Valleys. Sigh. The Valleys, as our friend from Abertawe (Swansea) will tell you, is just a little part of the country in comparison to the rest. Jeez. Does everyone need a bloody geography lesson tonight?
Just home from that shower of ****. Ashley has lied to Rafa, yes we know. But Rafa is responsible for that result tonight. His tactics and selection were once again found wanting. One up top at home to a Championship side that barely avoided relegation is simply not acceptable especially when you are chasing the game. He wants players - Fine. But three of his signings started that game tonight. Hanley, Gamez and Diame. All three are absolute ****ing dogshit. A fourth, Lazaar came on and did **** all.
I imagine there are valleys in more parts of the country than just The Valleys. Wales is hardly notoriously flat
Snipping most of the comments leaving the pertinent fact above. The last three games have highlighted a serious problem somewhere in the club. I have said it before that I think that Sunderland will find it hard to come back up again after last season and, furthermore, I said that if Newcastle go down this time then that will be the last time top flight football will be seen at St James for many a season to come. From what I can make out from the season start that my earlier thoughts on the matter are going to appear optimistic at best!
It is clear and obvious that Rafa is a stubborn bastard who is trying to make a point that he is going to do what he wants. The fact that he keeps doing the same tactic that is CLEARLY not working at all is making me wonder if he is actually taking the piss. Players aside he is getting it totally wrong.
We can predict already the team Saturday. Perez or Diame will be number 10 with either Gayle or Joselu as lone striker. Ritchie will be on the left, Atsu on the right.
If we lose this weekends game can we finally accept that we are in the ****. Can we also accept that Ashley is taking th absolute piss out of us. I know we made a lot of changes tonight but supporting this club is seriously debilitating and totally against all my morals of what football is about. It's supposed to be enjoyed and loved but ashley has ripped the soul out of us and basically made us an advertising vehicle. It's a complete joke and I am starting to get sick of it. I live in Carlisle and travel 60 miles to watch this ****e. I'm going to start going to watch carlisle. At least I get home b fire midnight. Ashley you ****ing tosser!
Supposed to be enjoyed and loved is the main thing there. I want to be entertained or else I may as well do something else for 90 minutes. Genuinely don't give a **** about the premier league but I want to watch a team that is exciting and has something about them!!
I'm not bothered by the team selection or going out to be honest. We wouldn't come close to winning the cup with this squad so going out in the first game doesn't really matter to me. The only thing that matters this season is Premier League survival. How the next few seasons go will be dependent on that achievement.
Almost Pardew-esque in its frustrating level of crap; Rafa's post-match summary. Why can we not pass or move the ball? You get what you deserve and they had 9 men more or less for the last 15 minutes and still did eff all with it. Yet Diame will be on the bence or on the pitch again Sunday.
