Nah bring them on anytime now ... Once they get to a final they take it more seriously .. I mean avoid them great but they'll have to defeat at least 1 of them
This had the potential to be a horrible night for us with our first competitive game for six weeks being so important to us. The performance didn't matter as much as getting a result while also getting 90 competitive minutes under our belt again. Onwards and upwards.
I'm very glad he went strong yesterday. I can see they are determined to get straight back into the swing of things and not let this opportunity go. I didn't see the game but from the radio commentary and the highlights looked like we did quite well against a determined Bournemouth defense. Perhaps just lacking that final cutting edge due to a being a bit rusty from the break. Trippier's crossing from the right is unbelievable. He is the player I would be most worried about losing to injury.
This is it we have no cover there basically with Krafth out and if he's not on the pitch its going to dramatically impact our effectiveness as so much of our attacking threat comes from that position. Bruno is v.bad of he gets injured too but I feel we could suck that up better. Deffo could do with a couple of signings in Jan.
