I wouldn't swap any scene in '60's UK for the one in the '90's, pers

In my view the '90's dance music scene was unbeatable. It had everything. 1997 was unequivocally the best year of my life.

In 1997 I was 9, I got an N64 with Goldeneye and I played it incessantly until my eyes bled and I could hear the music in my sleep. That was a very good year.

According to Trump (the serial cheat and liar), that isn't what his victims said and I'm more inclined to believe them over him. The recordings of Epstein that just came out state that he and Trump were friends during the 2016 election and he was only ditched because it was bad for his campaign. And although I'm reticent to believe them, the fact that Trump endorsed Mark Robinson so candidly suggests he isn't that bothered about being surrounded by nutters and sex freaks at all.

The reason it gets repeated is because, like nearly every objective truth, MAGA keep trying to make out that it isn't true when it patently is, they have this whole sanewashing issue whereby they try and normalise his behaviour by going "look over there". The three Steves around him, Bannon, Cheung and Miller are ****ing psychopaths that want the USA to be a Christian Nationalist ****hole ran by ****s like the Proud Boys, so of course they're going to go out of their way to make Trump look like a poor little dear. You ever wonder why every single thing that Donald Trump loses he claims is rigged? Look up his "rigged" claims from before he was president, he's done it dozens of times.

Who are P Diddy's friends? Elon Musk (also pictured with Ghislaine Maxwell), for starters, Trump's biggest donor. Anybody who took part in the trafficking of women and children is scum no matter who they are or what political stance they have. My question to you is, why don't you have the same consistency? Trump was found liable for rape, cheated on his first wife with his second wife and his third wife with a porn star, which resulted in him becoming a convicted felon, this is exactly what I'm talking about and exactly why MAGA gets branded a cult. Why is it democrats can criticise Biden but MAGA can't criticise dear leader when he does something heinous?

And the "Epstein Island visitors" aren't all Democrats at all. The "lists" that circulated online were typed up by QAnon losers and of course they had democrats on because it was just a list of people who slagged off Trump, that's what QAnon is, it's a Russian funded op. But again, ANYBODY who visited that island and committed a crime should be thrown in prison, because that's what should happen to people who break the law.

Go on, mention Hunter Biden's dick pics (hung boi), the "rigged election" or Pizzagate. I've got all night buddy.

cba. you are the pope and infallible.

They are always when you were young. Personally 1966 with City winning Div. 3 and walking home with the girlfriend of the time totally pissed after watching Spencer Davis Group, Stevie Winwood is still one of my favourites, on the night england won the World Cup I thought this as good as it gets.
The 1960s was a time of optimism. Everyone, well, young ones, thought life was great and would only get better. We were of course wrong but it was a great feeling whilst it lasted.,By the 90s the feeling was life is crap, everything is wrong. Or so it seemed.

<laugh> Great game that. It's crazy how bad the graphics look now.

My eldest lad was never a big gamer, much preferred being out and playing football, but Goldeneye was the one game he really got into. Youngest one preferred Zelda games, something I concurred with. Mario 64 was a great game which would probably stand up today with brushed up graphics. Goldeneye will look really bad blown up on today’s large 4kscreens but didn’t look as bad on the smaller CRT TVs of the time.

Does anyone find it disturbing that Elon Musk is running Trumps campaign while being the richest man in the world and owner one of the biggest news platforms?
Musk isn't running the campaign, he's running the biggest part of the GOTV (Get Out The Vote) campaign, what we would call the canvassing. If it's any consolation, he's running it very badly and it will be one of the reasons Trump loses if indeed that is what the result is. Incidentally, for those like me who think Harris is going to win, the voting day turnout is showing huge increases particularly among young people. Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania also voting in previously unknown numbers, can't think why.

The 60s was a time when Hull City fans defaced the statue of Boudica on Westminster Bridge, London with spray paint, not piss. Something I'm sure Cityzen would condemn, but as a 12 year old I was mightily impressed.

Yes, never warranted.

How about a card is sent to you at your registered address, you take this card, yourself, and a valid form of Id to a secure location. At this location a trustworthy person checks you, your card and id if all OK the card is exchanged for a ballot paper. Tick the appropriate box on the paper and place it in a locked box, after closing time the boxes are taken to another controlled place, opened and the votes counted.
That’s fine too.
I was just suggesting an option for a bigger, more remote country

some people dont vote becasue they have to go to the voting booth, be that illness, disability, whatever
if you make it easier to vote
more people do

The obvious, but flawed argument against that would be one of security. That a digital vote isn't secure. In reality nothing is ever truly 100% secure, but a digital login can be made very secure indeed, certainly no less than loose bits of paper. Hence it's good enough that we rely on it for things like banking, and indeed our entire economy.
Seems to be secure enough for tax returns etc

Have I just heard on the news that Trump wants to abolish abortion? Is there a ghost zero in the date? It must be 224AD surely if that’s a campaign pledge? Crazy.

Wishing all the best to the folks who put money on Harris today. Think you are going to be rewarded. I see Harris winning with 300 plus electoral votes

Cheating. Harris is a Babylonian whore without a brain. Anybody voting for her is clearly equally as dumb.

It isn't. His policy is for that to be a decision for each state based on the local wishes.
