I think he got injured on International duty for the Kosovan U-23.
Pretty sure he played for us v Villa in the early stages of the PJ Trophy.
From signing to getting injured didn’t take long though unfortunately

not sure if this is a dig at Willis. He’s the best centre half at the club IMO . Personally see him playing in the pl one day. I’d prefer it to be with us

Have to ask questions about Willis and our management of his injury. Personally think we should renew his contract and look after him. It’s a nasty injury and might have been avoided.

I'm pretty sure we'd tried to sign 2 other strikers before we landed Stewart, so he was 3rd choice on our list. Because we now find he was injured with a hamstring problem at the time, and subsequently another 'slip' injury, perhaps there was a bit of urgency to get a striker on board and we rushed it. I really hope this isn't the case because that kind of behaviour was supposed to be behind us, we'll see how soon he appears.

He probably is the best but as mentioned we are not managing the situation well and we'll need a whole new business model to be implemented before we see the best of him. Question is, will this happen?

    Spot on

I don't think we should renew anything, by all means help him back to full fitness using our facilities and physios for free and watch how he does and go from there but we can't afford to throw money away at broken goods. He may be a shadow of his former self when he comes back from this.

He might or he could make a full recovery, either way think we have a responsibility to our players. I’m not talking about a three year contract that lumps us with a crock, just looking after him whilst he recovers.

Looking at the injury and speaking to my physio who helps with everything running, she reckos the injury isn't something which happens as a result of his previous injury. It's much like a "broken leg" in that you can't not play him in case of this as it's just a freak accident - and, with that in mind, if you don't play Willis as this is a possibility, you would never risk playing anyone and never play another game of football.

Just what she said when I was getting my torn rotator cuff massaged last night!!! Please don't shoot the messenger!! (warrning for anyone going sledging the torn rotator cuff - although I'm going again tonight!!!!!)
